i got a question that relates to spamming i think, but didnt want to make a whole thread about it to spam the board.

every so often in my server i admin tele to everyone to see what they are working on, where they are, if they need to be kicked, or being idle for a hour and havnt done anything.

i find that someone (usually a blockdude) is far far away, looped over the map's islands over, and over very far away.
and is down under the terrain sitting there. so i ban them always asuming they are spammers trying something.

as they glitched into the ground anyway and arnt doing anything. (not that i have reason to trust blockdudes anyway)

what are these people attempting?

i live in US Central time -0600

i dont know if that has anything to do with it, but theres not many servers to join most times. maybe about 10 non passworded servers on at most times for me. (no i didnt count, maybe bad guess)

i like to look for serious builds to join, or admire. But only find spammers or shoe box kids, so just end up making my own server... just to have spammers or shoe box kids join.

im not in a clan or anything, but is there a secret list of ips your all are hiding from me? having all the good games off the list.

im makin myself a nice sized ship. but ofcourse theres the water line. i can make it LOOK like its in the water, having pices bottom out below the water line, no prob.

but what if i want to go down into my ship, lower then the water line?

without it being flooded x.x

i like the idea, but how do you decide who needs to be gone forever? sure id like to never see some people again, but gone forever from blockland? how would you decide how bad is bad enough.

and if it was a multiple vote type thing, like any server admin can make note against the person. then you can just see how that could be abused.

i dont know if anyone knows what i mean by this. i know i can load up a new game of bedroom and only static items from the f11 can be autoloaded, if was saved to map from before.

but can i save EVERYTHING that me and my brother built in our town to a map?
also mainly, would that reduce lag?

its starting to build up nicely, and with the wand used very well, but finally we feel the lag slowley comming :(

and theres nothing i hate more then to start a second area far away so town1 and town2 cant see and lag each other. i want a real built up town, not a dozen houses and buildings on a road.

yes this guy came into my server today, i been seeing him every so often these last 2 weeks in games i host. no problems really. he sure wants to be admin alot, but as usuall i never give admins anyway.

but today i told him about this thread i seen, and he goes off with some story with facechield hate and such and yeah he did crash a few peoples games, but only because they had some stupid look but no build rule.

then goes on to say yeah he could crash any server he wanted anytime. and then i ban him.

i dont see why people want to spam and cause trouble. i am new to this game (about 3 weeks) but i thaught people came to build things? and the ones that dont attempt to just hang around and start problems. why dont they go play another game -.-
