Try to do something novel, something other than a screen that just changes colors/uses 1864875136129 named bricks.
I would suggest developing something modular that can perform typical event-required task (like opening doors or respawning vehicles).

Reminds me of the Vex software back in high school, where it was actually more cumbersome to program with the 'ingenious GUI' it forced us to use than it would be to just type in the C code... well maybe it was just me.

Getting a new router won't solve the problem; I've gone through four of them and this problem persists. It's probably some firewall related error higher up on the network; certain connections drop (particularly ones made by TGE games, hmm) occasionally, even for my friends whom live nearby and have the same ISP. I've called my provider; they haven't a clue what's going on. There's no alternative high-speed Internet solutions for this region.
unfortunately there really isn't much I can do about it.

Two things:
1: Are you planning on letting players access each level via a staircase? If that's the case, you can't build on a baseplate; there's no way to link levels. We'd need to establish an open region in the floor/ceiling where the stairs would go.
2: Is the building autogenerator more for making templates, or finished buildings? If it's the former, shouldn't we restrain from adding superfluous things like curtains and computers?

Are you sure?
I can stick around at some servers for a half hour with no visible progress, but upon rejoining, the resources (might) download with the secondary bar present, and fairly quickly. In addition, small resources (ones that take less than a second to download) still use this bar when I rejoin.
Also, servers stall even if I tell Blockland to only download the essentials; it doesn't make too much of a difference. I have realized that changing some network settings will trigger Blockland to use the light-blue loading bar, but it doesn't always work, and when it does, the way I toggled it isn't consistent.

Hello.
Almost every server I join stalls while downloading a particular addon. I know that the problem is related to my DSL, and unfortunately there really isn't much I can do about it.
I've noticed however that, on rare occasions, the main blue loading bar is accompanied by a light-blue transparent bar that, albeit downloading resources much more slowly, ALWAYS downloads the resources. Sometimes this happens on the same server I tried to join earlier.
My question is; is there a way to toggle this slower loading method? Or is it really just a random occurrence?

My favorite servers are medieval RPGs that are hosted by a group of power-hungry admins.
While everyone in the server scrounges for a weapon better than a hammer, I sneak in to the admin's secret base, snag all the overpowered items that I can (usually including a wrench), and give them to all the poor peasants.
I've only been on maybe 3 servers like this, but I'll never forget them.

Here's an idea; make a custom map with two bedrooms, one right-side up and one flipped. When a switch is flipped, you're teleported to the flipped bedroom.
