Hey, so somehow I deleted my Rocket Launcher, could someone upload to Mediafire so I can get it?  Alot of Add-Ons run off of it so yeah...

Modification Help / Weapon making: Q3: How do you hide hands?

Alright, so I am making a weapon and I am wondering if I need Collision boxes on the projectiles and weapon itself, such as when you pick up a weapon or when a projectile hits you.  I need this done soon so I can get it to my scripter.  Thanks for reading...
Problem Solved...

Alright Question #2:
I tried exporting it and using the default gun's script with a few edits.  I used the weaponname.dts and bullet.dts but the model of the weapon fails to show up ingame.  The bullet however, does.  I have mountPoint and muzzlePoint joints on the gun, but it still fails to show up ingame.

Am I missing any joints?

Hello fellow Blocklanders and all those searching for a good DM.  About a year ago, the Top-Down DMs were somewhat popular and now there have been little or no appearances of these game-types.  Today I give you my [Facility] Top-Down FFA, hosted by Meeses.  (AKA Messes on the forums, RIP bl_id 830)  So far, only a few people have connected (way less than it deserved) and they were very pleased with the gameplay.

This build was entirely built by me...

So far, in Blockland, I have learned to make maps very easily and made quite a collection available for the community.  I am providing them in this easy list for the community to easily access.

All Links have pictures provided, so don't post any idiocy of "No pix no clix"

Mapping Help / How do I remove the shadow on a slate edit?

As most of you know, the recently released Nova maps have been adored by many users.  A quote from IcyGamma said, "removing the shadow is a common practice in Slate edits."

Suggestions & Requests / Client-Side Midi Sequencer

Ok, so you know how there's that Demo Midi-Sequencer.  It's always fun for people to toy around with and have fun, but then people start crowding and pressing ALL the buttons.  I was wondering since the Tetris GUI was possible, that a midi sequencer would be too.  It should come with 4 or 5 octaves in Piano, Synth and maybe a few others.  It should have an adjustable tempo so you can choose how fast it goes - as well as note-duration adjustment.  It would be like making your own music and putting it on an Ipod and would play to your client, like Chrono's GUI Music player.  The final question is if it is possible to link it to bricks, players, bots and vehicles.

Mapping Help / Skybox Texture Order & Texture Size

Well, I am making my first new Slate-type map (custom Skies) and I need to know in the resource.DML file, what order do I put the textures in.

Format being Front, Back, Right, Left, Up, Down.  I need to know the order I put them in for the resource.DML.
Yes, the textures are showing up.  They're just out of order.

In the past we have struggled at once to fire a projectile from a brick accurately at annother, maybe for show, maybe for some functionality.  I find trying to aim a Radio Wave to hit a brick 128+ studs away very difficult.  This is why I am suggesting the Directed Projectile.  The format would be a little different:

Simply stated, a heavy Rocket Launcher that launches a projectile that, upon contact with something, Implodes First, causing no dammage, then sends an after-explosion to finish off whatever it sucked in.

Implosive Radius ≈ 20 Studs.
Explosive Radius ≈ 24 Studs.

Hello Blockland users, currently I am making a launcher model and would like to know what the community would like to see shot out of it.  My idea was to have it fire poison gas canisters, that will break, causing you to choke and die.  I am asking the community to please leave a reply of what you would like to see launched out of it.  Please explain your reasoning.

Restrictions:
No...
  • Grenade or Rocket Launchers (Unless creative and original)
  • Living organisms and Blockos/Bots
  • Fire or bullets (that's just silly)
  • Inappropriate objects (anything that will make a middle school boy laugh)

Modification Help / Vehicle collision help

Hello people of Blockland.  Recently I have decided to take up creating Add-Ons for Blockland.  When modeling for vehicles,(Milkshape 3d) I get a Collision joint named root and a Collision box that comes w/ it.  I was coming to ask 1) What do you name it?  2) What do I do when Exporting .DTS and .DSQ.
