The nangol draws in closer, but does not attack yet. Because they are fighting on a slope, the nangol can run, but not attack without cost. The same goes for Olga. Olga's swing missed. The nangol lunges forward in attempt to attack Olga, and succeeds in tackling Olga to the ground and sinking its teeth into Olga's left forearm. At the same time, Olga acts by quickly drawing her knife and swiftly slitting the cat's throat, killing it. Although she is in great pain now, she looks around and to her relief there are no more cats about the mountain around her.
Kamila changes the firewood one more time, sweeping out the ashes. All cooled ashes, she crushes into a fine powder and sets aside in a small pile next to the fireplace and brushes off her hands. She then sits on the pile of wood on guard since Andrzej is dozing off. She as trouble staying awake and struggles to fight the temptation of sleep.

« on: April 01, 2016, 12:21:15 AM »As the feline scrambles back in recovery from its swipe, Olga returns the favor by throwing her spearlog and charging after it with her axe in both hands, ready to hack at whatever the cat throws back.The spearlog missed the nangol, but because the cat had to duck to evade, attacking with the axe is proven successful, as a solid smack to the head kills it. However, the nangol that Olga heard from earlier comes running from behind and lunges, landing an attack by swiping at Olga's left calf from behind, causing mid-depth cuts. The nangol retreats back before Olga can get a hit in, as she is disoriented by the sudden attack.
Adok and Aesc hear the howl of a makon a few miles away. A single answer is heard from a different direction, but closer.
After Andrzej falls asleep once, although she herself is very tired, she nudges him awake, and brings him to the hut, telling him that he needs to keep warm under the needles. Kamila keeps watch during the night, leaving Andrzej with two of her four spears.
Kamila walks down to the Ywazje, taking the bowl with her. Upon reaching the stream, a few dagu scamper away. Kamila washes out the bowl and uses it to drink her fill. Next, she fills the bowl up again and walks back to Ognisko, bringing Andrzey the bowl of water. Seeing that he fell asleep again, she wakes him and hands him the water.
