Holding his axe ready in his hand, Veho sneaks closer to the goat farthest away from the rest of the group. When he is close enough, he leaps and attacks the goat by hacking away at the head with his axe.

By now the goats will have scampered off after scaling the mountain.  However, Veho sees more of them up higher in the mountains.

Nice.  I would recommend more rhythmic variation such as extending the values or perhaps chopping it up.  Also it sounds like you have a lot of good chords there, so you would to well to establish a tonic once you have a good place to do so.

When the boar comes charging in for home and country, assuming that Adok doesn't do anything to stop it, Aesc would attempt to let it come over a distance before moving to side step and strike it in the neck/head region with his stone adze

Adok turns to see the crazed Bolgil making a charge at him, and quickly steps to the side to avoid serious injury.

As Adok tries to dodge, the boar attempts to swing at him, hitting him in the foot with the broad side of the tusk, causing him to fall over into the mud on his back.  After a moment of confusion, the pig runs toward Aesc.  As the pig gets close, Aesc crowns the boar as hard as he can, caving the boar's face in while dodging him.

Olga observes the depth of the river, and then goes to make herself hot to the point of sweating by the fire she had made earlier. When she's got beads of sweat running down her forehead, she sprints down the hillside and performs a shallow dive in, careful to avoid hitting her head on the riverbed. After adjusting to the freezing water for a moment, she dives further for her axe and scrambles for the shore. At the very least, she got the grime off.

As a result of this dive, Olga is very cold as the highland wind brushes past her.  She dashes up the hill and stands by the fire, heating herself up.

After all this very hard labor, her blistered hands and aching legs and back are telling her that she needs to rest.


The wolves around Kamila eventually lose interest and run off into the forest.  A few of them serve as temporary sentries as the pack retreats.

Kamila waits for a moment and then get back up.

Olga throws her spearlog and axe at two dagu, aiming for two kills.

Olga throws the spearlog and axe, which both fall short by several yards, landing in the river.  The dagu scamper off.  The spearlog begins to drift slowly downstream and the axe sinks to the bottom.

Troublesome.  Adok instead sets out toward the sound of a tree being chopped.

Adok travels southwest, where he sights three strains of mushroom growing around or in the swamp.

He remembers where they were, but then sees a man chopping wood while standing in mud.


Kamila wakes up to a black nose of an animal's snout sniffing her face.  She awakes with a start and a scream.  As she does so, the animal is just as alarmed and scampers back where more of its canine comrades are waiting in the woods.  The creatures do not seem malicious, but only curious of her presence.  She knows all too well that this animal is a predator, though.  Her axe is just out of reach, and thus does not want to make any sudden movements to warrant an attack that would inevitably mean her demise.  She silently watches them while trying to remain very still.

While Adok is observing Aesc silently from a discance in a somewhat inconspicuous position, Adok hears a growling squeal behind him, turning to see a crazed bolgil charging at him despite the mud.  Despite the fact that Adok hasn't seen a bolgil before, he notices that it is behaving strangely, almost erratically, as it would make no sense to charge through a muddy swamp.  Aesc also notices the angry boar heading in his direction due to Adok, Aesc and the boar being nearly in-line with one another.


As Olga is building her hut and retrieving supplies, she sees a small group of antelope-like creatures in the distance drinking from the water from across the Ostyak.

Adok continues what he's doing and attempts to gather some soft foliage to fashion a mat to sleep on.

Pretty much the only soft foliage that Adok finds is from berry bushes or pine needles.

Adok, feeling content with his fire, cuts down a few more trees to construct a shelter under which to sleep.

Adok constructs a stable, but simple two-sloped rooftop.

He hears someone hacking away at a tree and eventually felling it in the far distance to the southwest.

Using solely humanitarian reasoning, yes, but using practical reasoning backed up by recent terror attacks, no.

On the sole basis that they are muslim, I couldn't care less.  I'm happy if they make America their peaceful home.  But I am all too wary of attacks recently.

Olga cuts down two trees in a half hour.  Their trunks are both ≥ 7" in diameter.  The sound of the trunks creaking and crackling is a great satisfying sound to Olga.  The zvryma seem to have mostly attended the remains of the dismantled corpse that Olga left behind, though a few are watching patiently in the trees.

Realizing that he has no way to carry his stuff, Veho ventures into the forest to find an animal to kill and use its skin to make a bag or a rucksack. He digs a hole near the forest edge, puts his potatoes and crabs in it, and covers it with leaves and tufts of grass.

Veho spots a group of three mountain goats searching for food in the rocky areas north of him.

Aesc takes his adze and begins going to work at felling some trees- particularly ones that aren't too thick. He also surveys the area to gauge just how much long swamp grass there is.

Aesc is currently standing in deep mud.  There is some swamp grass, but it's mostly underwater.  He begins chopping at the swamp cedars.  He chops one down and it falls into the swamp.

The swamp water is particularly cold due to the fact that mush of the water is newly-melted snow runoff.

With 5 logs cut, Olga drags them back to her stuff one by one. She uses her axe to cut slots into the logs so that they fit together so that each log end could be the vertice of a wide wedge.

She tests the stability of the frame and finds that it is a bit loose at the base.  The poles need to be deeper underground.  Otherwise, the structure itself is very stable.

Olga begins gathering kindling for a fire, along with branches and sticks. She brings the haul back, and places the branches in a resting position against the top of the log structure as to act as a rudimentary wall. She repeats this process of collecting, hauling, and placing until it's essentially complete, save for the front and back. Olga removes her tunic halves and deposits the meat onto them along with the beehive. The tegacha berries have, at this point, been mashed into the hive to the point where it's a jam. She eats the larvae and bees as a snack and leaves the hive itself with the meat. With her rucksack now empty, save for the knife, she digs a level foundation for a fire. The soil that she digs up is fashioned into a wall on the side not being dug to create a very small lee that she can create an ember in, and she begins attempting to make an ember.

Within a few minutes, the fire is cheerily burning.

Adok starts a fire with his kindling and attempts to cook the crab over it.

Adok cooks the crab.  It doesn't have much flavor at all.  Where's the garlic butter sauce?


After Kamila finishes the frame, she puts the needled pine on top as a makeshift roof for the hut that she made.

Since it's still daylight, she feels tired and loads more wood into the fire and sleeps beside it.

That is so false.

Libertarian

nah libertarianism is unique enough

American libertarianism is almost entirely conservative libertarianism, and even when two "libertarians" of opposite but not polarized views discuss social and economic topics, they disagree almost as much as Dem/GOP.
