Vrede, upon his magical and nondescript arrival in the area surrounding the lake, immediately goes to work with familiarizing himself with his surroundings, while also keeping his eyes peeled for particular objects of interest as well as potential predators- aiming to memorize his 'starting point' for future reference, should he ever come under threat in or around the area, or need to return for particular resources.

Vrede finds himself in a grove of deciduous trees with large green fruits and pink flowers at around 10-15 feet off of the ground, and small shrubs with lavender flowers and brown seeds.

Oher than this, he notices a few eikai and dagu in the distance browsing.

The land slopes down to the east, has a small range of hills to the west, and descents to the south.  He faintly smells smoke coming from the southeast, which is upwind of him.

Öln throws his axe at a cluster of the birds, hoping that the weight of the axe alone will be able to stop at least one of their fragile bodies from taking off.

The axe successfully hits one of the bird's wings and back, disabling it, causing it to flap its wings and cry out as its friends escape, but his axe continues, being heavy, and flies into the shallows of the lake.

Öln heads south, looking for any sort of vegetation that might be edible, or perhaps even an animal he could hunt. He, of course, checks his peripheral view periodically to avoid missing anything important. Plus he could really use some water from the lake right now.

When he finds plants that only have a mild presence above-ground, he digs into their roots using his axe to make sure they have nothing of worth hiding below.

Öln graciously accepts the pork, bowing his head multiple times to express his gratitude due to the fact that he has little of material worth to repay Blatsa with right now.

While walking, Öln consumes the porkchop.

After being well-filled with the porkchop, Öln continues searching south along the eastern side of the peninsula, regardless of the fact that he is full.  Stocking up might be a good idea anyways, given the dark clouds that are coming in.

He cups his hands and drinks his fill from the clear lake water, as well.

After some searching, he finds a section of leafy-covered ground on the peninsula, and digs at it, and finds a good six spuds, ranging in weight from a few ounces to over 10 pounds.

He does, however, notice a few tejrze sweeping the forest floor, shuffling the ground with their bills in hopes to find mollusks.

Blatsa finishes his knife as he fastens the blade to a wooden hilt with twine.

Blatsa begins to sharpen the second tusk into a blade for another knife.  Once done, he would search for a suitable handle.

As Blatsa sharpens this tusk to create into a knife, he makes it nearly identical to the other ivory knife.  He has already found a good stick from the woodpile that Öln left in the cave.

As he is nearly finished, he takes a short break to shake out his hands and looks up at the sky to see dark clouds rolling in from the southeast.  The numerous Tejrge begin to paddle or fly toward the swamps.

Well, you don't determine Hunter now, but Fighting is go.

RvB to engage Space to revive mode, then continue on life support mode to ensure he lives.  Use maintenance platforms to drain excess residual energy from the SRC core and channel it to the RvB for extra power.  If the SRC is sufficiently cooled, fire at Stage I.

Kesakh stops, and motions for Heshimun to take a seat next to him on the log.  Kesakh accepts the fish happily and begins to tear away the scales.  "I didn't think that you were coming back" he says as he tears off the fins.

He looks up at the sky, behind him as the wind begins to pick up.  "Oh, that doesn't look pleasant..."

Heshimun finds the man sitting on the log, chanting things into his staff, which is letting off a slight blue glow.


Veshikk notices that many birds suddenly begin to fly into the valley from the south and land on the lake, some near to the shore.

Also Veshikk is on stasis until Saturday.

Heshimun awakes, goes to get a drink at the lake, and begins to spear fish.

Heshimun spears 2 medium-size hajuro and 1 large, new fish.

Öln snaps off a femur from the skeleton in Veshikk's cave, and begins carving a nice, long dagger out of it.

While Öln begins to sharpen it, he finds that it is hollow, and might be able to make a decent pokey-knife from it, but not any kind of slicing knife.
