That's not even close to a longsword, you silly.

Öln begins cutting down the youngest, shortest pine he can find. He periodically looks around, though, not wanting to be ambushed with little more than a crude axe and his own wits to fight with.Öln cuts down a small pine tree. Because of the limited amount of sunlight able to reach the ground in his area, most of the trees are tall. He cuts down a sizable tree of 25 feet tall. There is a good amount of wood available from this, approximately 3 logs, 6 rods, and 20 sticks.
Heshimun eats as many Tegacha berries as he can see, being careful to avoid the bad berries, and moves North toward the water, being very thirsty. Along the way he marks the trees at eye level with his axe so as to be able to make his way back.Heshimun bares several bushes of their berries and spits out numerous seeds on the ground.
Veshikk eats the handful of seeds he had and ventures out of the cave, observing his surroundings properly now that the storm has abated. He looks for a long, sturdy stick or branch with as few limbs on it as possible.
im at a friends house atm could I also be in stasisWere you at the friend's house for the last few days?
Blatsa wakes up, feeling quite refreshed with his extra two hours of sleep. He then sets to work on his coat.Blatsa begins to work on his coat, and finishes it in a few hours. He brushes the dust off of it and puts it on. After a few minutes, he is toasty and warm.
Öln wakes up, observing his surroundings. He gathers what few things he has from the ground where he slept.Öln is in the middle of a thick forest of tall pines. It generally slopes up in one direction, and down in the other. Along the slope are a few ridges and hills. The wind is a chilly, icy wind coming from the south. Everything is drenched from the last rainstorm.
Heshimun collects a number of each berry, putting them into separate piles. He then uses his fingers to smoosh one or two berries of each type individually, smelling the result and tasting it a little bit before spitting it out if it seems bitter or sour.Heshimun first tries the Shendama berry, and finds it to be slightly sweet. After placing it on his tongue, he spits it out, realizing that his tongue started to bloat up. The next berry he tries is the Atii berry, which after realizing that it is a really tart berry, is promptly spit out. The final berry is the Tegacha berry. This one is pleasantly sweet and there are no problems with it.
Perhaps the time scale needs to be modified. While I'm not sure that speeding it up too much would be great (people are busy, I understand), the thread just idling like it is now while we wait for a real life time is... somewhat silly. That's the idea I had. You may have noticed that it has been converted to the three-way split between Morning, Afternoon, and Night. This way, people have more natural opportunity to act during the day. I'd like to experiment with this one, but I will keep those ideas in mind. I haven't run something like this before, so I want to experiment with some timescales.
It really ought to be judged on player activity. So, for example, over the weekends and holidays time would likely move along faster due to players being more available, but during the week it would proceed slower. More specifically, time may pass more slowly during the first half of a day during the work week than the last half due to people being out of work or school.
There's a huge ice storm here in Oklahoma City and almost 100,000 people don't have power including me and there's like looters and stuff. Sooo I don't know if I can go into stasis or something. No worries. You seem to not be having much luck from what I've heard of your life as of late.
Hocef decides a fire is the best thing in this weather. She feels bad for anything outside in that storm. She again prepares logs for the fire pit and attempts to light another fire.Hocef ignites some kindling and lights it. The logs take a long time igniting, since they were freshly cut temperate trees, but they eventually burn. They release a heavy black smoke that seems to hang in the cave. At least the cave is warm, though.
With the twine, Blatsa begins to sew together a fur coat. The process, although it would take him until morning, produces him a long fur coat with which he can stay fairly warm. From the Bolgil carcass that he took from remains three intestines, a skin (without hair), and a few large bones.
Veshikk takes the smaller rib bones and whittles them down into needles for sewing. He puts them on the ground for later. In the meantime, he curls up in a corner and sleeps.Veshikk makes 3 needles for sewing and gets some good amount of rest.
And he does so, as he makes haste back to his shelter. Once returned, he would place himself as close as possible to the fire to warm up quickly, doing the same with the skin to dry it. Once dry, he would begin cutting the fur away from one of the skins to make twine. After everything is made dry and toasty, Blatsa spends the next few hours making twine amidst battling sleepiness. After he depletes one of his skins of its hair. He weaves around 30 yards of the twine.
Hocef decides to look for the animal still, despite the darkness. Maybe along the way she can find berries or something else to eat.Hocef tries to looks out from the entrance of her cave as freezing rain pours down on her. She looks out and can't see a thing except when a flash of lightning illuminates the valley. It would be Self Delete to go out into this storm.
