How do you expect us to rebuild liquid, SWAT?????We can at least contain the extra damage we caused. It's not beyond repair!
Veshikk observes the cave, looking for any potential dangers or signs thereof as well as anything of note.(That was the most formal way to say "Check for danger.")
With not much time left before the rain begins to fall over him, Blatsa quickly heads back to the lake to rinse the skin, and scrape any undesirable material from the skin and into the water. As much of a rush he was in to get to the water, he would take his time cleaning the skin, as he understands the importance of comfort when surviving by oneself. As he finishes his task and heads back to his shelter, it begins to rain. The rain feels like freezing darts hitting the skin. Blatsa quickly resolves that wrapping himself in the skins without sewing them would be the best solution.
Veshikk heads towards the water, looking for a clear spot to take a drink from. He is acutely aware of the cold and looks for any spots sheltered from the wind while doing this.Veshikk drinks his fill, and quickly heads into the forest. Luckily, the peninsula at which he arrived has rougj terrain. He spots a cave in which to take shelter. Lightning flashes and the rolling of thunder through the valley begins to occur.
Blatsa, with his pile of materials, constructs a temporary structure against a tree. With the leftover materials, he would build a firepit and start another fire. Knowing that the fire would not last him through the night, having taken note of the ominous clouds rolling over the valley, he began to work on putting together a fur coat out of the materials he had. This included the cooking and eating the fish before using the bones that were inside.Blatsa's temporary structure stands fairly well, although it is uncertain how much rain will fall. The fire takes some time to light as the wind and cold do not allow the fuel to ignite after various strikes. Blatsa would light the fire, cook the fish, be fairly-well fed from it, and remove some of the thinner bones to use as needles to sew up a fur coat from the Bolgil skin, however, the Bolgil skin has not yet been cleaned, and is still slimy on the inside. There is also no twine woven as of yet.
After successfully finding clear water, Blatsa searches then for fish to eat.As soon as a cloud moves out of the way from the moon, Blatsa observes the water. Only a few small fish no longer than 5".
Hocef cuts down a few of the small trees and puts them in the cave for later wood burning. Now we have to eat. Hocef tries to hear if there is the sound of water or any animals around.Hocef collects a total of 4 logs, 12 rods, and 16 sticks.
Veshikk abandons his plan and continues west, seeds still in hand.Veshikk continues westward and notices more berry bushes. He notices a peninsula up ahead. The chilly wind blows from the SSE. Veshikk looks up, and sees that the moon is getting covered up by thick clouds.
so, about that update
He's at work atm.Yeah, sorry about that. Can vouch.
Veshikk decides to avoid the man as he may be dangerous, and continue on his way.Veshikk continues on his way and arrives back in a thickly-forestd area. He finds three kinds of berries growing there. The first, and most prevalent, is the large red atii berry. The next is the dark blue and medium-sized shendama berry. The last is the smallest red tegacha berry.
Once Blatsa found clean water, he would bend down to drink it, and rest for a moment, and look around the lake.Blatsa drinks deep from the clear water, and feels very much refreshed. He sits at the edge of the lake, scanning the area for anything interesting. The sky is mostly clear, with a wind blowing softly from the south for the last two days. Lately, nothing more than small clouds had been drifting in, but as Blatsa looks to the southern horizon, he sees that tonight will be a cloudy one, perhaps rainy. The wind begins to pick up.
Hocef picks up her axe and steps outside of the cave to view her surroundings for new resources.Hocef scans her surroundings and sees some small trees that could be cut down and used for lumber. The area where she is, though, is surrounded by a lot of rocks.
Keep wandering around. Looks for edible-looking plants or any animals. This time, don't just throw things into your mouth with reckless abandon.Svala scavenges for more Tegacha berries, and eventually eats her fill. Her vision is still blurred due to the swelling, but it is getting better.
Veshikk heads down to the shoreline and observes the surroundings, after which he begins heading west.Veshikk finds a single log half in the water and a few sticks along the shoreline. The log is waterlogged, and no good for any decent construction. As he heads west, he re-enters the forest. After about 3 minutes, he comes arcoss a man sitting on a rock protruding into the lake. He wears an eagle hood and carries a staff with a Dagu skull on the tip, and is adorned with many beads, stones and bones. He sits pensively, looking out at the lake as he smokes from a long pipe.
Blatsa kneels down, and takes a small sip of the water, to test it. If it is no good, he would travel then away from the marsh (east) to find faster moving water.Blatsa finds that the water is indeed dirty, since some of it is coming from the swamp. He begins to head east in search of better water.
If the water is fine, he would take several drinks, until he no longer felt the need to. He would still, however, travel east.
Hocef finally wakes up and looks to check on the condition of her fire and her cave.Hocef is very well-rested, and finds that the fire is now just a pile of ashes. She does find that there are some sticks and rods left to burn. Her cave is safe, how she left it. It doesn't seem like anyone or anything has lived there for a long time, if at all.
Veshikk decides to skirt the animals and make note of their location for later. He continues exploring further south.Veshikk soon finds himself at the edge of a large grassy area with rolling hills sloping down to a blue link below.
