Modification Help / Re: Worlds (AKA "The Planets" map)
« on: September 19, 2010, 04:21:48 PM »
So I'm sitting here on my parent's friends farm, totlally bored. With my one chance to be on the computer for the last tow days, and I check the forums.

I see this topic is near the top of Modification Discussion, and I totally flip out at Reactor's Post saying the map's under inspection of the RTB moderators. I run outside flailing my arms and jumping for joy, well that's an exaggeration, so what I really did was just run outside and tell my dad that the map I've most anticipated is finally released.

THANK YOU, REACTOR WORKER

Cool.

One thing I love is having a Sport Rifle on Slopes or Tank Battlefield and popping some starfish with a Military Sniper, just as he hides behind a mountain. The Sport Rifle bullet goes right through terrain, and if you're crouching like he was, you die in one hit. He freaked the forget out, calling me a Cheap-Ass when he was the one with the Military Sniper. Seconds before, he shot at one of my teamates and was like "OWNED cigarette." What a little punk.

[agree] Indubitably. [/agree]

Overture of 1812.

Tchaikovsky for the win.

Anticipation for sentries has reached maximum. Do want.

Also - they look great!

I think Requiem for a Dream is over-used. I'd have to say it's okay, though.

And I think you mean "Clubbed to Death?"

Now name something else Holst is famous for. That's right, it's the only one.
-snip-

He's also famous for Jupiter. Really all of "The Planets."

That's cool, guys. Wee I'm still bored.

Oh sorry, I was a little edgy about where I should post this. I've been playing BL since early v8 and really am just getting into posting on the forums.

Mars is an amazing composition. Time to listen to Jupiter!

EDIT: Oh, thanks for redirecting me, Ephi.

This would be an awesome mod.

I don't want to heighten my hopes, though, I do think - like some of you - that this may not ever come into effect.

I have recently found a great appreciation for Classical Music. I posted this up cause I was bored after I was done with homework and waiting for a friend to message me back on steam to say if I could come over or not (yay for brief, unnecessary explanations).

So yeah. Vote. I'm listening to Gustav Holst's - The Planets - Mars, the Bringer of War while writing this.
