Modification Help / max step height?

Is there any way to change the max step height on a playertype?(like, how stairs don't require jumping, you just walk up them)

    You're sweating, unsure if anyone saw you take the key. Your heart beats faster and faster as you near the main gate. Like a gorilla, you thrust the yellow, oversized key into the slot. The sirens start blaring, everyone knows where you are. Within seconds, they'll all be onto you as if you were a box of crispy cremes. The door starts opening, you must think quickly to save your life. Bullets start flying through the air, painfully ripping through your plastic appendages. The gate finally creaks open, and you dive outside to your freedom.


    This and many other situations could happen to you as you try to escape the clutches of this high-security jail. Or maybe you prefer stopping clever prisoners like the above from escaping! Play as either in this fun, teamwork-nececcary game of "Keep prisoners in jail" and "Get yourself out of jail."

    Hosting went excellent yesterday! One thing that went wrong that I've fixed is, what happens if a cop gives you a weapon and then shoots you, legit kill right? Well, I've added  theclick items to pickup addon (by Chrono). So now, if a cop throws stuff at you, you wont pick any of it up unless you click it. Because this problem was fixed, I've also re-added drop inventory on death to the game. It's gonna be a lot of fun with these new additions!

    EDIT: added a new area, and I moved around some item spawns. I also did some bug fixing.

    After working very hard day after day, it's all finally coming together. The scripts and mods are ready to test. There will probably be some bugs that I need to fix however, so don't panic if something's not working. Just tell me while I'm on the server or drop me a PM. ;)


    Now you may be thinking...


    • Automatic Freekill detection system
    We don't believe in freekilling, neither does our mod. That's why I took the time to make an automatic system. So whether admins or not, freekills are always monitored.

    • Purchasable powerups
    Whether you need a little edge over the cops, or you're just looking for something fun, we have the online Store for you! Powerups are absolutely not needed to play the jail. They are provided as an option to players.

    • Mixed up gameplay
    Every new round item spawns around the jail are randomized! In addition, whenever a player spawns, there's a possibility for the player to spawn as an armored cop(250 HP). Or if you're a prisoner, there's a possibility that you might spawn with a key already in your inventory!

    In addition to the things above, there are some other things that have been modified.

    Prisoners are slightly faster than cops, 100 HP max.

    Cops have 150 HP, but aren't quite as fast as prisoners.

    Armored cops have 250 HP, but not every cop spawns as an armored one.

    Prisoners have the possibility of spawning with a key.

    Weapons damages have been adjusted, and critical hits on items have been removed.

    The lego pickaxe has had its damage removed, so they aren't actually considered weapons.

    Prisoners' fists' damage has been reduced(but the attack speed has been increased!)



    Digging area - Dig, prisoners, DIG!


    Manufacturing room - Do productive things, like packaging expensive, block-o-chocos.


    Main room - The "heart" of the jail



    About the store...

    A few of you may be thinking that the online store costs too much, which is fine and you don't have to buy anything, but consider this. You may not know that I spent days making the auto-anti-freekill script, item randomization, and just fixing up the jail. I also spend time administrating the server, running it off my laptop. I'm doing all this as a free thing for everyone to come and enjoy. So, instead of thinking about it as, "ugh, spending real life money on a video game," think about it like this: Hey, here's a fun, rewarding, inexpensive way to show Reinforcements my thanks!".

    Hello, and welcome to Blocko Elementary, where the learning is minimal, and the punishments are cruel and unusual! You are about to embark on a journey of learning and excitement. With a one of a kind script, this school RP is like no other. How about we show you around?




    Here at Blocko Elementary, school of teech, we believe a wide range of subjects greatly decreases boredom and really increases the fun!

    Building Class
    Here we show the students hard at work in building class. They are creating a themed build (Which I believe was a miniature house model. They were also required to use at least one round and one ramp brick in their build)


    Art Class
    Here we show art class, where you can express yourself through the art of pixels. Students must use their spray-can in this class to create a theme'd masterpiece.


    Not pictured
    • Gym Class - Face off against your fellow students in the ultimate game of skill!
    • Eventing Class - Learn simple events.





    Among the classes are several extra activities that I really wouldn't include as "classes".




    Recess
    Here we show the students having fun the playground at recess. Enjoy playing tag with the built-in tag mod complete with sound effects and chat notification(who tagged who). The tag mod also includes a 5 second "no-tag-backs!"



    Lunch
    Here at Blocko Elementary, we believe feeding students minds, and just plain feeding them, are both jobs that come with running a great institution. The students are grabbing food and placing it on a tray using the fully-integrated food mod. Fill up your virtual tray with items at the counter, and then go click an empty tray and the food instantly appears!

    Suggestions & Requests / Looking for school/corporation/building to use

    Hey guys,

    I'm looking for a big school or something that I can modify to use for my school RP. Some of you may have played it in the past. I used bits of other people's code as well as my own and assembled it into a school RP mod. I'll put credits for the build if anyone is generous enough to share something that I could use. I would build my own, but building the actual building is kinda boring to me I guess. ;)

    FriendlyNiceFunGame is a little horror game I made in about a week that was inspired by Slender.

    After playing Slender, I decided it would be awesome to make a horror game. The result was something much scarier. I started to loathe test playing my own game. It was at this point I decided it was "good enough". Now I'm hoping to get some feedback from the community.
    The goal is to get to the end of the subway.

    Sup guys. This is my new gamemode. Here are some pictures for your eyes.


    Every time you touch a brick it breaks, and you have click push. Be the last to survive and win the round. Also, the stage reloads every new round.




    Also, when I'm on, I'll usually do some races. Here's a video thanks to Racerboy!

    -Custom stage submission-


    Info:
    • Your stage should be built for the Bedroom map.
    • Your stage should be built with a certain amount of players in mind.(include this amount when you post your map!)
    • You should include your name and/or BL_ID in the map somewhere.
    • Your stage should be high off the ground so people die when falling.
    • Try to use very little transparent colors, transparent colors create more lag.

    Building Tips:
    • Turn raycasting ON for the main support cubes for your build, this will make it easy to place a ghost brick.
    • Use different colored layers so players know how many layers there are left in an area.(Unless the stage is pixel art)

    Brickpacks:
    • Wedges
    • Print cubes
    • 3x high walls
    • 3x wide bricks and plates
    • 3x3f print plates
    • One random brickpack

With it, not only will my servers not crash nearly as often(my home severs crashed a lot), but it can also be running 24/7!

    Help / Mac Sqlite errors, need fixing

    I have tried the solution guide, doesn't do squat.

    Every time I get one of these I must delete my cache.db and re-download everything... Is there a fix coming soon?

    Modification Help / Look.dsq not working for player type?

    Hey,

    I have a playertype and I'm trying to make it able to look up and down. I've made an animation that starts looking up then looks down. I've then exported that and tried it in game along with the rest of the files. But what I get is the playertype stuck looking upward. Hopefully the problem is simple and can be fixed easily.

    Could someone make a quick edit of the baseplate print plates so that the print is on the bottom instead of the top? It would be great if someone would help me out.

    General Discussion / Better Mac modeling software besides Blender?

    Hey,

    Blender is too frustrating, anyone know any good mac modeling software that won't cost $100 or more? I need a replacement obviously. So yeah, if any of you out there found some gold nugget software, it'd be great to know. Excuse me while a put an axe through my Blender window...


    EDIT: Clarification, Blender is too crappy to use, I can model in it, but it just wants to make it AS DIFFUCULT AS POSSIBLE FOR ME. Textures get reset to nothing when saving and quitting, I can't texture my model "blank.png" or the model looks incredibly shiny in game.

    1st of all, I hate Blender.

    Ok, down to the business. My textures are suppose to be regular textures, the 1st pic is suppose to be a bright orange texture. The 2nd is suppose to be whatever color the player sets his body. As you can see, they are all shiny and screwed up. Also, if you have any other suggestions for mac modeling software, please do. :)

    Hey,

    Man, I want my animations to just export correctly, but I seem to be in a jam here.(I'm using Blender). You see, before export, the animations are set to the correct bones. But when exporting, I come back to the 3D model view and find that the feet and the body's bones have the "talk" animation set to them. I try the DSQ files in-game and none of the animations play. I really want to fix this. Maybe there is some simple thing that I'm missing? I really hope so...
