Help / Cancel events that have a delay?

Hey, anyone know how to cancel all events on a brick, even the ones with a delay? I've tried setEventTimeout and cancelEvents, but the delayed event still executes. I've also tried setEventEnabled.

It would allow you to add groups events pre-saved by the user for further use. Like, say you already have events on a brick, and you want to add some events that you've previously made, you'd just select them from a "saved events" menu and click "add', and the empty lines are filled with the events you loaded, versus just loading events and overwriting your current ones. With this it would add them to the events already on your brick.

General Discussion / Anyone see any bad add-ons in my folder?

If anyone sees any bad add-ons here, it would be great to know. I've been having random crashing when I host, and I really want to fix it. Also, some of these are unzipped add-ons, yet they still work when I enable them. Could un-zipped add-ons be causing the crashing?

Hey,

I seem to be having trouble with my server. Is there a way to set what IP the player connects to when they try to join your server? You see, Blockland crashes on my Mac when I try to host. So I am trying a "virtual PC", aka, running windows on Mac. I've got the server to run, but the thing is, the windows virtual machine has a different IP that my mac. When i try to host a server from the virtual machine, and a player tries to join, the player's blockland tries to connect to the macs IP instead of the virtual PC's IP. Thus, not connecting. Is there a way I can change what IP players connect to when they select my server? That way I could set the IP to the windows virtual machine's IP, so it will stop trying to connect to the macs IP and correctly connect to the virtual PC's IP.

Modification Help / Eval Broken?

I'm making an event that uses eval. You type something in the text box, then you activate the brick or whatever you'd like to use. I just don't get why this doesn't work. This is for personal use and I do not plan on releasing this. Here's the code.

Hey,

OnVehicleEnterZone doesn't work for hand gliding players. OnPlayerEnterZone Doesn't work either. A zone event that works with hang gliding/skiiing/jet packing players would be great!
On Player, Bot, and OnVehicleEnterZone don't work.

I know there are Mac users out there who may experience at least some of these. The instability of Blockland for Mac is really annoying. Here is a list of errors I know so far. I'm really tired of #2.

1. Turning your light off sometimes crashes the entire server when hosting

2. Random crashing when hosting. Everything seems fine and then BAM, right in your face, Blockland has crashed and there's an error report. These errors include but are not limited to: Segmentation Fault Error; Bus error. I only see these erros when hosting dedicated servers. Normal Blockland servers crash in exactly the same manner, so I suspect its the same for normal servers as Dedicated ones. I usually don't see anything significant in the console.log

3.Sqlite errors. I believe someone wrote tutorials on how to fix these, but its still an error, so its here.

(Mac + PC)4.If text with a font is too big, only the last word will be displayed. Like if you have, "<font:arial:30>Hello, sir, can I help you?". When you click the brick to centerPrint the message, it would say, "you?". Fonts don't display correctly on Mac.


If you have any other errors you'd like to add, post them.

My normal server crashes seemingly without a trace.(server hosted within blockland) I suspect the same thing is happening, though nothing noticeable is in the console of a normal blockland server. I had crashing problems before v19, I'm running a macbook pro with Snow Leopard 10.6.6. I hope this will be fixed.
This crashes my dedicated server and maybe even my normal blockland(it crashes too). I've had no help thats giving me progress.(though I thank anyone who posted in the help topics) The console doesn't give any add-on error close to the crash, so I think it may be Blockland. I'm tired of this crashing. If you're going to sell it for Mac, make it work for Mac.
