but to be real i hate those ratchet girls that are yelling all the time and always asking if you have food
I always found it weird how people you don't know would be so eager to ask you for food/money

it's like... don't be needy all the time

I think my entire school experience would've been twice as great if people didn't stop in the middle of the hallway on some stupid stuff.

People smoking weed? fine
Disrupting class? ok, learned all I needed to anyways
Dumb jokes? it's alright we're young enjoy your highschool years albeit with no maturity

but when people stop in the middle of the damn hallway it just makes me lose all purpose like why do you even know where you are how can you

au contraire, i say copying poses from good art is a great way to learn, you can't just get hooked on that style and become a copycat.
I disagree, but not completely. Copying is okay if you're trying to get certain aspects from a drawing style like linework and all that but it doesn't really help anything that's foundational from my perspective.

I reference but draw them in at least slightly different poses as to get a good personal interpretation
that frame especially, cus it focuses on foreshortening, which is one of the most mind-forgety art techniques to get down. 90% of the foreshortening i draw is from reference, i've barely got it down yet.
I suppose that is right. I learn things as I go so I couldn't tell you how I would learn it.
Im currently trying to draw over things to learn the anatomy of faces, pencil thickness, etc...
Than go to freestyle drawing or whatever its called.
Facial anatomy is a lot better and more rewarding to learn by using a method rather than copying another character.
I suggest watching Reiq or Sycra tutorials if you want a really cool and stylized tutorial.

Freestyling isn't the only alternative either. You could reference and still have a product if you got your anatomy proportions down.
But don't take anything I say as more than just subjective reasoning because you're entitled to learn however you feel. I know I still have a stuff ton of stuff to learn.

but I would say he should draw from a different pose rather than copying the original pose

better practice even if it won't look 100% correct

he was pretty interesting to watch argue constantly. it was always funny how oblivious and needlessly confrontational a person could be at the same time

his whole thing was like

people are drawing anime based off of anime instead of drawing it based off of reality, right.
so you get an even more watered-down art style because all you learned was how to draw cute anime girls or something?

Can we all agree that attacking someone during a friendly, start-of-round taunt is one of the stufftiest things to do in 1v1
I do it lol. Never saw it as friendly especially with a CF player.

I take taunting as a sign of confidence so getting 10% at the start should be nothing for them.
