Rosalina in a power suit. This came out a little weird, and I smudged the tip of the boot with my hand (I'm left handed) and didn't bother trying to fix it it. I digitally enhanced it to try and remove erase lines and smudges, I did a really shabby job doing that. ;_;

I can see it to a degree it's hard to explain.

Like the space under the collarbones are lighter with no details in the area causing it to look flat

thats what I did
A lot of times people just draw out some circles and lines until they look humanoid and then go from there.

it really does nothing for you so make sure you actually have the proportions you want and then draw over it.

I always forget up with some kind of proportion on paper, legs and body are stubby af, I like how I drew this though.
yeah the legs and body could use some work. dunno if the head is supposed to be bigger on purpose or no

draw out the proportions first as a figure then base the character around it and it should be easier to get it right

As a Sheik main, I know full well what you're talking about, but I feel her lack of kill power is exaggerated. Her smashes can kill at reasonable percents(minus down smash, arguably her worst), Fair strings can take an opponent from one side of the stage to the next at mid percents, allowing for early kills with bouncing fish. Uair is fairly solid and up-B has amazing kill power.
well I wasn't trying to exaggerate the lack of kill power but it's not hard to catch up to one from experience if I know what moves kill me specifically.

I'll have to shut up until I play more and more shieks because they're kinda scarce.
OK but like... most of that probably wasn't a combo but a lot of reads
i'm not trying to downplay it, but it's not like it's mostly guaranteed and something every sheik could just do if they got the setup
it was a sequence with little wiggle room but I may as well say I was read then.

like I said if I see more shieks do it then it speaks for itself

It's hard to explain, honestly

I was playing a Robin against a pretty good shiek an managed to die twice to the same combo.

It started with a series of fairs, use of the needles, then a bouncing fish, but the way it was set up caused it to kill at pretty early percents.
never saw anything similar again but you could tell thought was put into it

it seems like a simple combo but the spacing was clean as stuff
"Tier whoring" is playing to win. Play Sheik or quit complaining.
I think it's justified to point out flaws in a character with plenty of advantages.

and if my only chance to win past mid-level is to play characters that exhibit much better results than what I like or even barely enjoy then why even play the game if it hinges on a couple of characters.

I disagree with you on that. Her frame data is fairly broken, to the point where she has plenty of safe options. As long as you don't throw smashes around she's hard to punish and can out maneuver any character without difficulty.
Fair, but what do all the advantages amount to if you can't score a kill with her? A lot of her difficulty comes from actually sealing the deal and in FG i've never experienced more than one shiek able to perfectly graph out a combo that killed.
now hold on, shiek IS a ridiculously strong character, and the only reason imo she isn't recognized as the best in smash 4 is because of how strong luma alone is
i'm sure plenty of people know how good shiek is
she has extremely low lag aerials, projectiles, recovery that literally makes her invincible (not in the sense that it's really good, but that it actually DOES make her invincible for a few seconds), a combo for at least 30% at low - mid percents, she can easily gimp most characters in the game due to how fast her attacks come out, and to basically just spray liquid ass all over everyone, has multi-hit smash attacks
fast aerials and combo ability are the main factors of shiek no doubt about that. intricate shiek kill-combos are hard enough to pull off to where you're at no surprise to how you died given all the momentum and timing they require

idk about everyone else but in FG i have no problem matching shiek's maneuverability and the combos only serve to make up the damage you should be able to get on her anyways

even m2k hates shiek nobody likes shiek except people who use her for her top tier status shamelessly
zero likes shiek

also shiek takes a lot of skill and practical thinking to play so idk why people rag on her for having potential

she's like one of the only top tier characters with a nice learning curve

sm4sh makes it hard to follow up with anything (because of hitstun? correct me if im wrong) and puff really needs those rest setups
none that i can think of off the top of my head in sm4sh as opposed to just a grab in melee
harder to wall of pain if they can just airdodge after 2 hits
well they didn't declare it to be a combo oriented game and despite that the competitive scene relies on a mix of combos and well-timed hits for the most part. just not with the characters we want

Imo the problem is that there's not a decent number of characters that can follow up well enough to hold a combo. Either give more characters the means to produce consistent combos or take it away from those who do.

I agree that mechanics like l-cancelling getting taken out, shieldstun, and mobility techniques make the game feel more clunky but like I said before I find it to be more of a character-to-character problem when it comes to the main problem of the game.

The things you mentioned would make the entire game less tedious but from a personal standpoint I'd just roll better with a more versatile roster.
