3x-12=48 (x*3 and -4*3)
Then 3x=60 (You're esscentially adding 12 to 48)
And finaly x=20 (60/3)
Okay, thank you! What happens if it's on opposite sides i.e 48=3(x-4)?
Do I still do the same thing?

Ex. 1) 3(x-4)=48
Would it look like this:
3 (x-4)=48 (Distributive Property)
-9/-9x=48/-9
x=39
Did I do it right? Tell me if you even understand this.
