Well, when we were at Target, we saw a TV/BluRay player combo, so we got it and the Wii. :D

It doesn't seem "kiddier," just more of a fun creation. I want to play the new Super Mario for it, and Little Big Planet.

Many of you saw my other topic about TVs at Best Buy. My dad for some reason passed up that sale and today went to Target and Wal-Mart comparing prices. He wants a new console, but he doesn't seem to have really decided.
He wants a PS3 because they supposedly have great graphics and they can play BluRay movies.
I want a Wii because they are assloads of fun, and cheaper.
I'm trying to convince him to get a Wii but I really don't know which is better, considering I've never played PS3.
Opinions?
(Note - both are easily obtainable; the Target here always has tons of Wii's in stock and PS3's aren't exactly selling super duper fast.)
