Help / Limited game controls
« on: August 16, 2009, 11:53:13 AM »
I can't use my jets, I can't open the bricks menu, and I tried taking the tutorial because I thought that was why but I can't even complete the tutorial because when I get to the part where I have to crouch, the red text only says "Press  to crouch". I also ran through every key on my keyboard only to find out none of them make me crouch.

What's wrong? D:

Lmao, I like that.

Wow, for zoo made of bigger bricks, this is coming out great so far.

i think it was one individual, but then it turned into a clan build when clan members decorated their own rooms

I find that even more impressive now. :P

If I were to ever join a clan, I couldn't work on a project with anyone... I usually have a far different plan than anyone else.

That was made by the "MotE" clan

Was it made by the entire clan or a single individual?

I originally played Roblox. I recently became a two-year player there, and I have tons of knowledge on the game. I personally believe I could do something like that there, but not here, primarily because here, you make it out of smaller bricks. But I like the customization more here. Plus the community is more mature.

I also like Skele's Snake Eyes Casino. Usually things like that get multiple pages of posts and feedback, but his only got two.

I like the design, and it would've taken me a while personally. I couldn't do the interior like that, because it's rather depressing. But, in my opinion, that's a good design.

One of the things I thought mind blowing was this:

I think I found that on Google. It reminds me of something from Harry Potter.

To each their own.

You're very good at expressing your thoughts. :P

If anyone makes a big fuss over your judgement, then they are a poor judge themself.

I see what you're going for there. But, IMO, Niliscro is right. My opinion still matters to some degree but it doesn't have as large a magnitude of an older player.

I've seen some of the stuff people have built with Blockland, whether it be on YouTube, Blockland advertisements all over the web, or just surfing old Gallery posts. I saw some things I found mindblowing only for some others to say it was just good, nothing special.

well then what is the point of showing other people your work? you could just as easily keep it to yourself forever if you don't want people to dislike it and tell you about why.

That's a good point but going at a slightly different topic.

Thank you Niliscro, I realized that and just wasn't sure whether to even state my opinion or not.

The title is a bit vague, but to be honest, I can't find a better way to explain it...

What I'm asking is that do you think it's okay for newer players to critique others' builds, maps (or whatever else terms people here use) or other work?

I have minor experience with the game, but not a lot... not much at all, really. Just enough to know brick placement, color, lights and other elements, how to handle add-ons... basically what the forum posts by Badspot say and what the tutorial taught me.

Anyway, do you think it's right?

I like the window design.

I like them too...

I like it. I like the simplicity yet neat design of it...

Holy cow. I really like the style of this... I like the color scheme a lot, and I like the chimney outside.

If I were with them, I would say yes. :P

Hm, I like it for the most part. I mainly like the detail of the cooks' space...
