You know honestly I would LOVE living in a situation like this.

Obviously with more stalls and stuff, but just living in a loft in a shop. I would be so happy.

Quick question for you guys:
Which one do you think is better? The Dart, Challenger, or Charger?
I'd prefer the Challenger.

What generation are we talking? If you're talking the present the Dart doesnt even belong in that lineup. I like all of the new Dodges but I'd take a Challenger Hellcat.

I'm a little concerned now lol. I replaced the lines last May because they were leaking... everything else on the car is up to date. No leaks, rattles or maintenance... I guess truth is you just really can't foresee something like that happening. I bought it in November 2013 and now 17,000 miles later, I've put in a new fuel filter, done the intake gaskets, injector rings, both axle seals, transmission flush, transmission lines twice now, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, new tires, new snow tires, new rear stuts, new control arms, new control arm bushings, new ball joints, a new wheel bearing, new front brakes, new front calipers, a wheel bearing, a coolant flush, brake flush, an outer tie rod end, water pump, new alternator, new battery, new serpentine belt... and lots of oil changes and alignments.

Had my Malibu towed today. Looks like the transmission lines were rubbing on the fan shroud and eventually wore a hole through them, and I'm almost positive it's a defect part. They come out of the transmission at such a sharp angle that the lines don't have enough room to curve properly so they aren't rubbing on the shroud.

I'm also immensely irritated because I called the dealer looking for a replacement part since that's where I got it before and they said they can warranty it out if I have the receipt. Thing is, while I have literally three years worth of oil change and repair receipts, and more O Reily's receipts than anyone in this town, I can't find the one for the dealer.

I printed off the shop's invoice that installed them and it has my VIN and stuff on it. I'm hoping if I go down and talk to the dealer I can get them to let me warranty them, otherwise that will be another $80 down the drain plus labor.

I guess on the bright side I'm lucky this didn't happen during our road trip next month, or on the highways that I frequent where I wouldn't have noticed it and could've burnt out my trans. Would've sucked.

You put snows on an AWD car? You're unstoppable!

This is where the transmission fluid goes right?

honestly don't know what you mean by this. dodge is definitely american

Sure it is, but the Dart is heavily Fiat inspired. I think it's mainly a European design though I believe it's built here in the states.

Ignore me. I'm just talking.

In the Darts defense it was probably due to the fact it was a courtesy car lol. I love mine. I mean it's gutless. But it's great in about every other aspect.

To each their own.

Yay spring!

Why wouldn't it? Parts are parts no matter who chooses them.

That's like asking if your dinner will taste the same as last time if someone else wrote the shopping list this time

I'm just being cautious. Most people don't write $800 shopping lists.

Like what if I just bought parts to a build someone else put together and then lut it together myself? Would that make sense?

I feel like if you take nearly any RWD car against an AWD car the outcome is fairly predictable.

So how hard is it to build my own badass gaming rig? I don't know anything about building or repairing PCs, my knowledge ends pretty abruptly beyond anything stated on dxdiag. My dad advised me to go to a computer shop in town and see what they can get me. Now that I have money rolling in, I want to invest it in a fun toy. I want a high end gaming machine that can run pretty much any game on highest settings, namely games like Fallout or Skyrim or GTA smoothly, since I mainly play less demanding Steam games these days. I know that if I build my own I can get less for more but I have no idea where to start.

Honestly it's hard to think of a way where underglow can be tastefully done. It's obnoxious, try-hard, ricey, and hated by most car enthusiasts. I think it looks cool, but I wouldn't be caught dead with it on my car. It's laughable on cars that aren't fast, and confusing on cars that are fast.

Well said. I saw a video of it where you can wire it into your dome lights, so they will only come on when the car is unlocked, a door is open, or obviously if the dome switch is on, etc. I probably would have done it like that. But that seems like a lot of work for something that will just be overlooked, especially if you only see it when the car is stopped. I was surprised at how cheap the kit was though, like $120.
