Off Topic / Need Help Finding New Earphones
« on: December 08, 2011, 03:36:27 AM »
I have broken five pairs of my earphones now and I need help finding a new pair. Yes, there are requirements to this.

1. It has to be wireless (There are a few reasons why I hate wires).
2. It has to connectable to the iPhone that I have and a PC.
3. It has to be durable.

Please excuse me for making this topic half-assed.

Off Topic / Need Help Finding the Music on this Video

Not sure if the title is ambiguous or not.
I want to find out what the first music is on this old video.
Once the music is found, I will lock this.

I only have about a week left of summer break, and I'm trying to find a laptop with great performance and durability. Suggest me some name brand laptops.

Blacklisted: Dell and Apple.

Off Topic / It was long trip/My computer's working again
« on: July 21, 2011, 08:11:52 PM »
I'm now back from my 3 week trip from Japan. Went to the Misawa Air Base, took a sceneric drive to a lake, went into the Ryusendo Caves, and visited a town that took a rocking from the tsunami. Overall it was great.

As for the computer: I gave it a 3 weeks rest and the internet suddenly works, so now I can play Blockland again. As for now, I got a stuffload of updates to install.

Off Topic / Heading for Japan tomorrow/Broken computer
« on: June 28, 2011, 07:00:34 PM »
Me, my mother, my aunt, and my uncle are going to travel to Japan and stay there for about a month for summer. My mother's busy as hell, so she said that she won't be going to Japan next summer for multiple reasons. On the other hand, I'm going to visit a military base in Misawa.

As I pack for Japan, the modem decided to screw me over. I tried removing the plug and put it back in. Didn't work. My mom tried removing the battery and put it back in. Nope.avi. My mother then called Oceanic Time Warner Cable because of the broken modem, but they stated that it's not really the modem, but the computer itself. Good thing I have my uncle's laptop. For now, no Blockland, no Plazma Burst 2, and no Internet connection because the computer is too arrogant of fixing itself. I wish I knew how to make my own homemade computer, but I don't know how to and I'm short on money.

Off Topic / The Omegle Zombie Apocalypse Game
« on: June 21, 2011, 01:04:45 AM »
Zombies have risen from the dead, and your team has successfully escaped the contamination zone and has established a camp for survivors. Your goal is to rescue other people and transport them safely to the camp by chopper.

Your weapon of choice: A fully loaded six-shot revolver.

Simply go onto omegle.com (If you want), and chat with a random stranger. But first you must ask them, "What is OP?"

If they answer, "A friend": You met a survivor and get a full cylinder.
If they answer with ASL, M/F, or anything related to personal information then they are infected. Shoot them and get the hell out of there.
If they answer anything other than the two listed above, they are civilians in need of assistance. You can either rescue them or leave them to die. If you do, you obtain +1 ammo. If not, you don't get or lose anything.
If you run out of ammo, you're done. You can reset at any time.

Now post some results.

Update: If you shoot the zombies, they're already dead. No exceptions. If they make up an excuse for being dead, they're just lying friends.

Off Topic / Uniblue PowerSuite: Should I go for it?
« on: May 11, 2011, 09:41:02 PM »
I decided to ditch Advanced SystemCare V4 for another registry cleaner that will hopefully fix my piece-o-crap computer of its corrupted registry and slow performance. I thought to myself that if I bought PowerSuite (RegistryBooster, SpeedUpMyPC, and DriverScanner), it can fix that application error (0xc00000ba) and install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 correctly. So the question stands: Should I dish out my wallet for $60.00?

Off Topic / My G930 USB Drive Just Died
« on: February 17, 2011, 01:24:15 PM »
While I was finishing my research for DNA extraction, a tiny message said that my USB malfunctioned. So the question remains: Can I send the USB to Logitech and get it fixed?

Off Topic / 0xc00000ba, what do?
« on: January 23, 2011, 07:16:40 PM »
So I thought of having to run Rock Raiders onto Vista 64bit. I downloaded the missing d3drm file and dragged it into the desired location: C:\Program Files (x86)\LEGO Media\Games\Rock Raiders
As soon as I start the program, the program failed to initialize. So, what now?

Touching non-living stuff = vaporization.
Touching living stuff (including humans) = instant death.

You have become Death. Now post away.

The title says it all. Careful not to get burned to a crisp.

Exception: The objects inside your house will not catch on fire.

God damnit, stop jumping on the bandwagon.

Off Topic / I Guess My Computer Hates Blockland
« on: October 22, 2010, 12:22:00 AM »
Okay so today, I try to go onto Blockland to check for servers that I wanted to go to. When the game is verifying its own connections with other servers, my Blockland automatically closes in front of my face. I did this about three more times and I was just confused. So I checked the files and folders using Kaspersky only to find: AdWare.Win32.Agent.spw lurking in my Add-Ons folder, the rest are clean.

So I decided to download Blockland again and this showed up.
