How about 2 times the height of player, 5 studs away from player it kills, 10 studs away from player 50% damage, 100 studs away from player, 10% damage. during the white-out, the player dies, and the user will just see a 10 brick height mushroom cloud.

How about instead of a one flag, how about instead of the frag projectles, are a couple of flags that say "Disappointmet", instead of one big flag. Except with not damage
