One thing I remember about every single Mafia Madness server I've been on is that they all tend to use the Pyramid save. Any reason why Pyramid is the most used build for Mafia Madness, other than because it has a roof? Why aren't other builds used?

Could someone take the pushbroom and weaponize it into this?



This is the Master Spark from Touhou. Every time the player fires the weaponized pushbroom, it shoots one huge laser. The laser is also wide, as you can see in the pictures.

Heavily inspired by both the classic X-COM(1994) and Enemy Unknown(2012). TACO PIG is another inspiration. Why did it have to die?

Welcome, new EXALT commander! In the past few days, the Cult Of Sirius has been brainwashed/taken over by Aliens. The cult has long believed in redemption of the human race by a superior Alien race.  EXALT, however, seeks to use alien technology for world domination. Although EXALT agrees with the Aliens, we do not side with them. The Aliens refuse to cooperate with anyone that is not the Cult Of Sirius, and they voice their displeasure with plasma bolts to the face.



You will be taking our troops on EXALT's first mission. EXALT Troops are armed with bulletproof business suits and either a rifle or pistol. Our current weapons are low-quality crap made in some foreign country, but that is all we can afford. We spent most of our budget on fancy rugs and carpets made from an endangered species. Until we can acquire more funds, your weaponry will be made by the lowest bidder. Please note that our weapons are still better than X-COM's, however.



You'll be heading into the city to deal with a disturbance by the Cult of Sirius. X-COM will also be present at the site, so they'll have to be taken out too. Expect a 3-way battle to break out. Your objective will be to acquire alien technology.

---Combat---
Combat is engaged upon spotting or being spotted by an enemy. When combat is engaged, this thread will switch to Turn Based Combat. Gameplay is realtime until combat is engaged.

Every soldier has 10 Time Units.. X-COM forces and Aliens may contain more than 10 Time Units.
Moving 1 tile/square is 1 Time Unit.
Soldiers automatically take cover if they can find it.
Priming a grenade is 2 Time Units. Throwing it is 3 Time Units.
Throwing a non-grenade(Ex. Medkits) is 2 time units.
Reloading is 4 Time Units.

Shooting
SNAP SHOT: 4 TUs
AIMED SHOT: 5 TUs (Accuracy increase)
AUTO SHOT: 5 TUs, 3 round burst
SPRAY AND PRAY: 6 TUs, fire a long burst.
BASH: 2 TUs, bash an enemy with the rifle.


Nobody even uses the above.

Soldiers can target individual limbs, from the eyes to the groin to the neck.

Your job is to jump from beacon to beacon untill you can get to the next sector. Sector 8 contains the Final Boss, which is the Rebel Flagship. Destroy that to win. FTL also has upgrading your ship with scrap, random merchants, multiple races such as humans to mantises to crystals, and more.

Possible Ship Layouts (Please note that once the game actually gets going some of this will be changed with a save editor to be.... less overpowered for the early game and more punishing.)






Why am I using only these three ships out of all the other varieties? These ships have a 4-Man Teleporter.

Whats the maximum size an image could be on this forum before it starts to page stretch? I don't seem to notice them on a 2560x1600 monitor, but others do.

The addon
Every time the minigame resets, everyone is damaged for 1 point of health and quickly healed 1 point of health.

Q:Who the hell would find this godamn thing useful?
Anyone who hosts a Super Murder Mystery server. SMM has a feature that lets you mouseover players in order to discover their name. If you are a maf and you mouseover a player, it tells you his role(Inno/Maf).

Unfortunately, however, the "mouseover" feature in SMM is broken and only kicks in AFTER taking damage from any source. This inevitibly results in Mafs teamkilling eachother because they have no way of telling who their teammates are, other than pressing Page Up and looking at the list of mafs 24/7, which most players don't do.

This addon would be useful for SMM and nothing else.

Is there a fix for the names in SMM? One handy feature is that mousing over a player will tell you their name and role(If you are a mafia member, it also tells teammates.) Unfortunately, however, it only seems to kick in AFTER you take damage, and its the only way to identify fellow mafs for most players. This inevitibly results in Mafia members teamkilling eachother, because mousing over another player will not work until they take damage. Is there a way to disable the names(Ex. Blockhead15312 is called John Doe once he spawns) for SMM, and make usernames(SMM hides the real username) visible at a distance again? If thats not possible or would break the gamemode, then what about making it show the username in addition to the real name when you mouse over/spectate a player?

Could someone make a "Cartridge Tilt" playertype? It basically acts like this.

A stuffton of random spinning, basically. The above video is a result of a cartridge tilt on the N64, which causes everything to start spinning in a hilarious manner. The playertype should be spinning in random directions at all times. The player's hitbox should not be affected.

Currently, I am doing a screenshot let's play(sorta) of Fallout 1. Im almost done with it, and will move on to playing Fallout 2. One question I have for next time is if a screenshot Let's Play belongs on Off Topic or Community Projects.

I would say Community Projects would satisfy most people.
Ideally most of the interactive community things would go in there.

Strictly speaking it could go in Off Topic, but that might also annoy some people.
And while it's no guarantee, you might be exposing it to more people willing to try and mess around with your project, or cause arguments. Same thing can happen in Community Projects, but I think people tend to be a little bit more focussed on letting the project run in there.

AND I suppose it could even go in Games.
We've had people post their Let's Plays in there before, although they usually are Live Streams or a YouTube series.

I personally would stick with Community Projects. Seems like you'll have the least amount of hastle there.

Could someone do a playertype that can't look up/down? Theres already the DOOM playertype(Can't look up/down), but the movement is too fast for my needs.

Normal movement speed, can't move while crouched, 50 HP.

Could someone do weapons from Wolfenstein 3D? Weapons include a Knife, Luger, MP40, and Chaingun. They should all be centered and have absolutely zero reloading.

Could someone make a pistol that gets only one shot? Its specificly for being used with addons that make players drop weapons on death. Click to shoot. After the gun is empty, leftclick throws or melees(depending on whoever makes it). Once the target is dead and has dropped all his items on death, grab his REAL guns.

The model should be the FP-45 Liberator, but I'll accept a reskinned Default Gun too. This might be useful for some kind of "Resistance" TDM where the rebels have to steal all the good stuff from the government or something.

The gun should be fairly powerful, and one hit kill on a headshot.

I think that there should be a pref that if you get a kill with it, you should get your bullet back, so you have a rigid "kill to survive" kind of gameplay.
I like this.
And if you fail, you can use it as melee to kill someone and get a bullet back that way.
If you melee someone that way while you still have a bullet, though, you would get a extra bullet.
the melee should be only usable if you have no bullets

like, you melee by left clicking but left clicking also fires a bullet if you have a bullet

alsooo I'm not totally sure if it's suitable for use in blockland right now. the trigger, hammer, and the thing that gets pulled up are all separate objects from the body. so there are like four objects in it rn. and I'm not sure if blockland likes that sorta thing or not cus I've never made a model like this for the game. and I didn't make any spots for like mounting or whatever bc I have no idea how to do that

I remember it had bot helicopters landing to evacuate survivors, melee weapons, a unique, possibly private gamemode, and infected clicking on survivors to infect them. Anyone remember the name of it, and why it died?

Zapk's Disease was the name of it.
