Summon a nanosuit, wear it, go into Armor to help protect yourself for as long as the energy allows and blast those guards to hell. Let's see how they like demons.

Protagonist pulls a nanosuit out of his ass!
Turret 3 shoots Protagonist in the face and drains all the energy from the nanosuit!

get homeless musician to cover and for him to play music at the heavy guards

Homeless Musician gets into cover and plays music at the guards! Heavy Guard 3 is slightly moved to tears, but continues attacking anyways!

Shoot that Fire extinguisher with your disposable to create a smoke screen and tell the patriots that are unable to find cover to flank the guards and turrets.  Tell the ones that are in cover to give cover fire.

You shoot the Fire Extinguisher, causing smoke. Your patriots climb a nearby ladder and try to flank the guards, but the Turrets open fire!

Vagabond breaks into pieces!
Former Murderer breaks in half!
Prisoner is ripped apart!
Prison Guard is badly wounded!

Your fellow patriots finish climbing the ladder, get on a catwalk, and try to break into the room the Guards are in, only to find it locked and barricaded!

Heavy Guard 1 blindly throws a molotov roostertail out of the room, but it hits a turret SETTING IT ON FIRE!
Prisoners 1~9 fire upon the turrets!
Homeless Man gets up close to a turret and shotguns it!
Imprisoned Flash Mober fires the M79 at the room the Guards are in, damaging the glass!

You shoot the Sniper Cannon at the Heavy Guard's Incendiary grenade, detonating it! The Heavy Guards stop, drop, and roll before grabbing a fire extinguisher.

Sniper Cannon those loving turrets.
Also:Also tell all your patriot friends to take cover so they don't get massacred.  And find some more Sniper Cannon ammunition.

You snipercannon the first turret, destroying it! You scream for your Patriots to take cover, but quickly realize that there's not enough cover for everyone. There's only enough cover for about five or six people, so the others will have to risk getting shredded.

it's time for a genocide crusade

You start playing "Muscle Blues" from Persona 4 on your smartphone as you shout "AMERICA!" Everyone feels loving pumped as your group walks slowly throughout the prison headshotting guards left and right. The prisoners start rioting, and even MORE of them join you. Eventually, you discover an armory. You move in to take all the loot for yourself when the large mass of prisoners following you arms themselves with the guns.

Turn into a Ceph Devastator unit. Use the X-PAC to kill the Riot guards with the Shields, then use the Reaper Cannon to kill off the rest.

So you use a wrestler's busted starfish?

OT:  Get a MAWLR from KillZone 3 and SHOOT ALL THE COMMUNISTS...while blasting smooth jazz because forget you.

Protagonist doesn't have any of that on hand and turning into a Ceph Devestator would be OP. I don't feel like giving an instant game over for that so the Protag will temporarily have these.

Protagonist turns into a Ceph Devastator and fires the X-PAC, ripping several guards apart!
Riot Guard fires the Taser to no effect!
Protagonist opens fire with a Reaper Cannon, ripping even more guards apart!
Prison Marksman shoots the Protagonist in the head for barely any damage!
Protagonist summons a MAWLR from Killzone 3 and shoots the rest of these Commie Prison Guards while blasting smooth jazz!
Riot Guard is moved to tears and kills himself, knowing his life is complete!
Assault Guard breaks down into tears at the sight of smooth jazz and runs off sobbing.
