In this game, you get 5 cards with nouns on them. Every round, the subject is a verb. Chose the card you think is the best fitting for the subject. The chef (who is randomly chosen every round) will pick the one that he thinks is the best. If your noun is the best, you get a cookie.

Off Topic / Problem with Prepaid Credit Cards

So I got a Vanilla Master Card worth $50.00, since I wanted to but a copy of Starcraft II on my Battle.net account.

Turns out Starcraft II is $59.99 and I can't transfer funds from card to card, so basically I've been forgeted over and I can't get the game. Does anyone have any idea how I could possible get this, because you can't sell cards back and as I stated before, it's just going to sit there as $50.00.

Give me some suggestions on what I can do, and not something that's half assed like a cry for GIFT ME THIS GAME.

I have around $120.00 saved up so far at least.

Steam is Proogles how about Terraria c: I actually have plans on what to buy, going to get Skyrim pre-ordered.

School assignment, I'm drawing blanks.
I'm not a very scary guy, but I need some original ideas to kick off a story.

The catch is I need to be able to present it from memory in a pitch black old rifle range. I need to get some sleep, but can I ask you guys for some spooky ideas to help get my story started?

I can think of some ideas on my own, though I'm hoping for some good ideas from you!

So today had a bit of Canadian History, since the government has been kicked out for being in contempt of Parliament.
Stephen Harper is no longer our Prime Minister, the vote ruled to kick him out being 156 to 145.

Looks like another Election for Canada, apparently starting on Saturday. Sad and shameful day to be a Canadian.
I wonder who the next Prime Minister is going to be?


Yes I'm aware you're all American but this is still some important stuff in North America.

Games / Microvolts Megathread (H.A.V.E. Online)

What is Microvolts?
Microvolts is a third person shooter, originally in development known as H.A.V.E. in Korea.
It was handed over to Rock Hippo, and is currently released in open beta as Microvolts.

The main idea of the game, is that you play as toys. The playable characters are ranging from little robots built together with scraps, to anime doll figurines or whatever you weeaboos call them.

The gameplay is sort of like mish-mashing Team Fortress 2, and Battlefield Heroes. The end result is a surprisingly fun and addictive game.

You can buy slightly different variants of weapons, or cosmetic AND beneficial equipment for your characters.
So it's sort of like Hat Shoptress 2, but they actually DO something!

You earn EXP and MP by playing obviously. EXP lets you level up, while MP lets you entrepreneur  yourself with stuff.
There are Achievements for things like shooting people in the with rockets or headshotting like a bitch, these can get you some spare MP, making them worth your while.
Characters
Naomi: This is the average character, and probably the most common. Standard anime collectible figures people "treasure". She is unlocked at the beginning, along with Knox.

Knox: He's your average pop-culture reference hip-hop action man-ish person. He has a massive jaw, goofy hair, and SHUTTER SHADES FOR YOU HIP AS HECK entrepreneur S OUT THERE. He's unlocked at the beginning, alone with Naomi.

Pandora: An alternative less innocent, cute, good, whatever you want to call it, version of Naomi. She also wears the skimpiest clothing, so knock yourself out you Many Men Online Role Playing Girls players. Oh, she also costs 20,000 MP. Tough cookies, you have to pay to watch ass while killing people.

C.H.I.P: The coolest, raddest, badassiest looking scrap parts robot you've ever seen, composed of Lego bricks, wire, beer cans and cooking utensils. Probably one of the coolest characters IMO, but he also costs 20,000 MP like Pandora.

I gave most of my family members chocolate boxes or oranges, and some mugs related to pet hair in food for my parents. Christmas is meant to be about giving, right? Unless you're a bratty starfish who's spoiled with thousands of gifts.

General Discussion / Server hosts lack the ability to choose addons wisely?

Well I remembered one reason I don't play Blockland much is that to join even the smallest DM, I needed to download 50 different AI's and zombies, 2 whole Medieval packs, tons of space-build prints, and 20 million mechas, minijets, tanks, golf carts, presents, dogs, scripts and more.

Here's an example of what I mean.
Billy Block is making a Race Course, with only 1 type of car.

DUNGEON CRAWLERS
Better looking header sooner or later

What is this? I don't even?
Well then, this is a game where a group of adventurers go deep within a dungeon fighting monsters and stuff.
That and there's a class based system with perks, like any good old Dungeon Fighting MMO Board Game whatever.
It's got a bit of Roll the Dice and Mining Endeavours rolled into one.
Here is a preview of our adventurers!

This is them with no armour, so you guys can choose their default shirt colour, skin colour, and maybe hair if I'm not lazy.

I will be accepting up to 6 adventurers, just fill out this sheet below.

Classes
There are a few classes here, just the basics of any old MMO or something similar.

Warrior: Wears lots of armour, carries around swords, shields, axes, hammers, whatever you want to bust heads with.
Brute Strength +1 to all attack rolls, +1 defense to all attacks towards him.

Archer: Uses bows and arrows to kill enemies from afar.
Eagle Eyes: +1 to any ranged role, can see farther than most classes.

Wizard: Cast magic missile and other awesome spells with various effects.
Incredible Intelligence: +1 to all puzzle, trap, and intelligence related rolls.

Priest: Curse enemies, heal players, and other holy stuff.
Divine Intervention: +1 against anything undead, demonic, or evil.

Rogue: Sneak around in the dark, steal stuff and backstab enemies.
Art of Stealth: +1 against undetected enemies, or when hidden somewhere.
