I'm painfully looking through his gallery and the redesign sketches all have the same base anatomy with hair flips, big hands and feet. I don't see a lot of remakes with original concepts.

Discuss.Leaves you vulnerable to taking a face melting nuke or two, kind of expensive despite giving decent stats, only builds into one item that is very situational and only works on a few heroes (Morphling, Sniper, Tinker, Nyx, that's about it)
Then again I'm talking about the old E-blade so big stat gainers like Centaur and Pugna aren't being accounted for, but a lot of people are saying double edge and eblade will be some lulzy combo.

« on: October 21, 2012, 11:32:52 AM »curse/last word sounds painful, but only for one person.True, he does lose some of his team fight disruption with last word's rework, but now he's more focused at shutting down a single hero, most likely the enemy carry. Arguably a new Anti-Mage counter, he's going to have to blink to escape, so that's 6 seconds he can't blink again. If he doesn't run, he gets disarmed, making him useless, and pure damage goes through his stacked magic resistance and high armour. Going to be interesting the way he fits in regardless. Overall a solid rework bringing him back up to being one of the better hard carries.

People keep forgetting that the double ult buff for Drow is only effective when a melee hero isn't next to her. Lets be honestly that isn't that uncommon.
Sure she's better now but she's certainly not a top tier carry like others. definitely not the biggest buff this patch.
Silencer's buff on the other hand is absurd. He has the ability to completely shut down casters and carries, really hoping to see him picked up competitively. Last word guarantees you're going to take 300 damage and get silenced or silenced AND disarmed, plus he's going to slap curse on top of that making you take a total of 700 magic damage and 200 mana burn over 6-11 seconds. Plus he has limitless pure damage, Icefrog wanted him to be back in the scene and hopefully we get to see that.
