Help / Weapon damage problem

Okay, so you know how there is no weapon damage unless there's a minigame?

There is, in fact, weapon damage outside the minigame for my server.

Even if I make a default minigame that has weapon damage unchecked, there is still weapon damage.

I am trying to make a challenge and the fact that there's weapon damage completely ruins two levels(probably will be more) and I can't do anything about it.

I need help, badly.

Help / Sqlite error... what?

This error occurs when I try to start hosting a server. When I start hosting the server, I am able to close the error and start playing on my server. However, when someone joins the server, this will appear and in a few seconds everything blockland just crashes.

Here's what it says:

Blockland could not write to cache database. This can be caused by running the game from a read-only directory or CD-ROM.

Help / Using images in centerPrint?

I recall going on to BadSpot's server at one point and seeing a tutorial on how to put images into centerPrint or chatMessage. I just tried it, and it doesn't seem to work. I tried <image:base/client/ui/brickIcons/4x4F> but that didn't seem to work.

Quick responses will be nice.

General Discussion / Veteran

Since I have been here on Blockland for a year now, even though taking breaks by playing other games, I feel like I can call myself a veteran for being here this long. But the thing is, I don't really thing I have done anything really useful to the community: I haven't made any add-ons, most of my topics have been troll'd, I'm perma-banned from the RTB IRC for a reason I'm never going to be able to know, and worst of all I smuggled a copy of Blockland0002 from a far-gone website.

Does anyone really give a crap, though? At least I haven't got a drama topic yet.

Suggestions & Requests / Fireblox in-game web browser

So I have an idea for an in-game browser that could be based off of the internet connection code used for the RTB Mod Manager, so that it can virtually load web pages within a GUI, but those pages must be abnormally basic. For example, no flash, java or other scripting should be processed as that would take too long to build in. Another thing is accessibility. We need a home page that has quick-links to common Blockland pages such as these forums, the RTB forums or the other like. Aside from the links should be a simple google search that would work just like the google website itself. As part of the GUI there should be a bar on the top with

>URL input
>Back/forward navigation, refresh, stop loading page, home
>6 different bookmark slots for easy access to long URLs below the other two

I don't think tabs should be needed, but just opening another Fireblox window would work fine as Blockland has a GUI minimization feature that no one uses, ever.

Anyways to wrap this up, does anyone think they can make this or know someone who can make it for the thread? Thanks before-hand.

I basically want the addons to be in different folders like this:

>Default
>Personal

That way you wouldn't have to scroll so far to find a certain add-on to edit/delete it.

Suggestions & Requests / Tools: Cube breaker and repairer(terrain builds)

Whenever I'm making a terrain build, sometimes I realize that I either made too small of cubes where I could have placed a bigger cube in general or I placed a big cube right where I was going to make a cave. Then comes the idea of this.

Cube breaker:
The cube breaker breaks down cubes into smaller cubes.(e.g. 64x cube breaks into 8 32x cubes and 8x cubes break into 8 4x cubes)

Cube repairer:
If you accidentally broke the cubes down too much, you use the cube repairer to automatically find 8 cubes formed in a square, and turn it into a bigger cube.

With these tools, you won't have to re-build the stuff that's on top of the cubes in order to replace them.

I was bored so I made a custom cursor scheme that goes great with windows vista/7. Why is it orange? I dounno, because it's my favorite color, I guess...

Drama / sk8rgamefreak

So I was hosting a challenge. It was pretty challenging, and sk8r was doing fine for the first 20 levels(30 total). But then he started a votekick against some guy who didn't let him cheat because he tried headjumping him. The votekick wasn't successful though. He kept complaining that it was too hard. Then the guy he tried to votekick votekicked him and it was successful.

When he re-joined he kept asking me to fetch him back to where he was, so I did, but I hadn't been paying attention to what had happened earlier. So he quickly beat the last 10 levels. Of course when you win you got a push broom and a horse ray for common fun, but sk8r abused it. He kept pushing everyone off of the winners area, spawnkilling them, and not letting them win from level 30. Then he votekicked Elemental Chaos for complaining, and when he re-joined I fetched him of course, to winners. but it wasn't too easy because of sk8r push brooming me(the winners area was small) so I kicked him to fetch Elemental. He re-joined and said:

After I banned him for 10 minutes he PMed me saying
"well thanks for the save"
I guess I should have banned him instead of kicked him the first time, so he wouldn't save my challenge.

Mapping Help / Is this the size I think it is?

I know I THINK that this is approximately the size of a 16x16 baseplate, but when something goes wrong in mission editor I always freak the h**l out. And, of course, I didn't zoom since I opened Constructor, so you may have an idea of about how big it is.

Where do I get images that show server information, whether it's online, dedicated, players... that sort of thing.
