Also, if anyone can help me, please help.
My chipset family is:

Suggestions & Requests / Blockland Forums Chatroom
« on: August 02, 2010, 09:19:36 PM »
I'm thinking that we should have a chatroom on the forums itself.
No, not IRC chat, a Blockland chatroom at the forum website.
Since I wanna ask some people things and I can't talk to them sadly.
I don't even have their Steam, so yeah.

Games / The Universal
« on: July 31, 2010, 12:31:42 AM »
The Universal is a free online game which has a small community but very close and everyone knows each other well. The game gives you access to design your own world how you want it to be, you can try out models and textures ingame, create heightmaps for your world, create new weapons easily using scripts (like the cow cannons as seen in the video XD). So far ive seen racing worlds, pirate worlds, medievel worlds, business tycoon worlds, rpg type worlds, all player designed worlds which is made easy by the use of the World Creator. It even comes with an easy to use guide telling you all the functions and commands. If your more into battling and such then you could try out space, where you can trade resources between planets as to make space money to buy new ships, new weapons, and ship accesories. These are easy to gain and you can be a fully armed space pirate in no time choosing either a path of evil or good.

Download Now and join in on the action!

Drama / Dear Badspot, Unban Niven please Letter
« on: July 29, 2010, 01:07:26 AM »
Dear Badspot,
I feel responsible for Niven being banned recently on the Blockland forums because I suggested him to change the topic title to Niven's Farewell Party which resulted in him banned. He may have broken rule 5 after that, but before that, he didn't. He wanted to have a one last fun with the Blockland forum members before leaving for a whole year, despite his limited time on the computer. He's a well-respected forum member in the community and has been seen always happy around us. We all feel sorry to see him go and we al lhope he can come back. Please Badspot, can you give us just one chance and allow us to have a farewell party with him? Not alot of people signed up yet, but I'm pretty sure that after this, people will sign up and we'll have a great farewell party for Niven. When he was banned, I'm sure you've seen the topic in which how Kapt wwas telling us that he was banned and we all feel horrible. I myself, feel bad for asking him to change. Badspot, just one more chance, restore the topic and unban Niven please. Just until he leaves for the year ahead.

With regards,
Shafin

Zombies are people too!
Download is the sign, derp.

What is Z.A.P.T?
ZAPT is a zombie gamemode made for Blockland. It contains many features similar to L4D 1 & 2 but not fully. This is a guide for people who don't get the gamemode.

Modes:
Infection
Survival
Versus
Man VS Tank

There are currently four types of modes in ZAPT, each mode will be explained in detail below.

Infection
Infection is a gamemode in which everybody spawns as a survivor. When you die as a human, you will spawn as a zombie. The game ends when either everybody dies and becomes a zombie, or when at least a survivor is safe.

Survival
Survival mode is a mode in which you survive as a human. You can set whether you can respawn or not in survival mode. The game ends when either there are no more humans, or survivors are safe. You cannot become a zombie in this mode.

Versus
Versus mode is in which the game randomly splits the people in the server into two teams, Survivors and Zombies. Zombies will try to stop humans while Survivors try to reach the safehouse. The director also randomly chooses someone to be the Tank if Tank is enabled. Note: If you try Versus without enabling player zombies, it will automatically enable them.

Man VS Tank
This mode is in which you are thrust upon in front of a Tank. One person is randomly chosen to be the tank while the others are survivors. There are no zombies in this one. The rules are simple. The Tank has to kill all. The survivors has to kill the tank. Note: The Tank has alot of HP.

Zombies

There are alot of zombie types. Below, this topic shall explain what zombie types there are, how to know what they are, and what do they do.

Zombie types:
Mob
Soldier
Jockey
Smoker
Leaper
Consumer
Swimmer
Witch
Tank

Mobs:
Mobs are just actually bots. They're like a horde of zombies together and are coming straight at you to kill you.
To find out if they're mobs, just find a horde of normal zombies charing at you
Kill on sight since a horde or two around you is just hard to beat close up.

Soldier:
Soldiers are like your standard zombies...with some invincible armor everywhere except the head.
To recognize them, they wear an armor over their body and they only suffer pain through the head.
Snipers would be useful to shoot em on the heads, everywhere else is just pointless.

Jockey:
Jockey's are small pinkish zombies that try to jump at you. Beware, this tiny creature is no feat. Once it has pounced onto your silly head, it'll sit there waiting for you to slowly die. Only way is to have a friend kill it....or just die.
To recognize them, just avoid small pink guys.
Best way is to always go together as a team. TEAMWORK is important for this survival.

Smoker:
Smokers are zombies that have some really strange tongues that latch out and strike a survivor! Watch out, it wraps its tongue around you as it slowly kills yo uand pulls you away. You have at least three seconds to get the smoker before you're trapped. Once you are, call for help! Your teammates can save you by touching you. Or by killing the smoker.
To recognize them, they have an emitter around them.
Best way is to shoot at the smoker or hide and dodge around as to not let the smoker get you.

Leaper:
Leapers are...essentially leapers. They leap at you as fast as they can to damage you to hell. You better just jump out of the way!
To recognize them, just look for crouching zombies, they usually are leapers.
Best way is to dodge them as every blocklander jumps around like crazy or just avoid them.

Consumer:
Consumers are medium zombies that when eating human flesh, grow bigger and bigger. Once their stomach is full, they're essentially half-giants. When they barf on you, you gotta be prepared. Their barf causes you to stink and have hordes of zombies spawn and come after you and YOU only.
To recognize them, they would usually come close and eat you and then grow bigger as they eat you.
Best way is to finish them quick and fast.

Swimmer:
Swimmers are zombies that swim in the water. Be warned, it's best not to swim with them as they won the zombie olympics about a hundred times. If yo ujump in the water and find yourself with at least 3 swimmers, you're dead.
To recognize them, jump in the water and see if they can swim fast, if they do, you're screwed and dead.
Best way is to not jump in water.

Witch:
Alas! The horrifying witch! The horror of all zombies! The mother who gave birth! She is the Witch! She is an A.I. sadly due to her kind being killed in action, and she is very fast and has titanium claws.
To recognize the Witch, look for a red light and I repeat, do not hold a weapon and look at the witch directly. DO NOT. Or else she'll come at you with a speed of light and slash you like a ninja!
Best way is to go into first person and make sure she is not in the middle section of your screen or you can go third person and walk backwards to her.

Tank:
DUN DUN DUN! The TANK OF DOOOOOM! This guy has got to be the most dangerous and the most dumbest zombie of all. He has a big punch and tons of HP but sadly, he has really bad eyesight as such, he punches every single thing that damn moves!
To recognize the Tank, he appears when a DUN DUN DUN sound comes and you see a big grey loving zombie come  at you.
Best way is to run like stuff and fire it down with bigass weapons.

That's all folks, got anymore stuff to add?

F.A.Q

Q1. Help! I cannot find Infection or Man VS Tank in the gamemode selection!?!?
A1: Don't worry, Infection is not a problem. You must have at least two people in the minigame, then reset the minigame with the gamemode in Survival. It'll automatically change to Infection. It ought to say on the screen.
As for Man VS Tank, I cannot seem to find it either, if you know how to enable it folks, I'll gladly appreciate the help.

Q2: Can we choose how or when the zombies spawn?
A2: We can't choose how or when they spawn, but you set on the distance the spawn from in the RTB prefs. The brick radius on the RTB prefs means that how much studs away from ANY player will the zombies spawn. Iban suggested 48 or 64.

Questions from others:
Any questions made in this topic shall be put here and answered as to not have lots of spam.

114
I need a script that makes it wether you are allowed to spawn items or not.
Also, maybe a script to set what type of items you can spawn and NOT spawn.
Also, RTBprefs on who can spawn or not spawn.
And, maybe setting weapons and tools to a set category?

What has happened to you people?
I mean, cats once or twice is ok, but on almost loads of topics?
loving hell, just stop with these cat pictures.
I have a feeling they're like the alts of furries.

Also, this game mainly focuses on combos and skills together.
It's not some kinda 'OOOO I GOT THIS SKILL! UBER MAGICAL HEALING DESTRUCTO FORCE OF DOOM!!!'
It uses thinking and styles.
Try it out!
Anyone play this? I'll add you

Similar to Oblivion if possible.

This is your life. You live in GSF paradise.
Each person is their own person, and they have their own story.
For example:

Person 1 shoots person 2
Person 2 blocks the bullet and goes somewhere else
Person 3 gets shot by person 4
Person 4 shoots person 1

You see? Like life.

The map setting we're in is GSF paradise.

Shafin arrives in airport and shoots next poster in the neck, then runs away.
