Suggestions & Requests / Combats in Role-plays [Idea] - LEEEEEEEEEEEROOOOY JEEEENNKINNNSS

Whenever you fight in role-plays, it will always eventually turn into some bloodfest war or something. I THINK I have a way to solve this.
Say for example, there's two people, A and B.
They both use swords.
A swings the sword at B, who is just holding it.
A script rolls a die from 1-100 and determines a chance of A damaging B.
Another script rolls a die from 1-100 and determines a chance of B blocking A.
If B rolls higher than A, B blocks and if, B attacks A, B has a +5 number added to the next roll to A and A only.
If A rolls higher than B, A hits B for the damage normally.
If they roll equally, no damage is dealt, but A cannot attack B for about 0.5 seconds.
Note, this would take into account that a person doesn't just hold the attack button and spam it to the enemy. Maybe, tehre should be a 1-1.5 second delay between each swing, regardless of whether or not it hits anything or anybody.
