Please look up something from an ACTUAL STUDY from someplace credible like a University or some other organization.
Then add in the beginning of your essay, "Since most of the websites provided on the subject were biased fanatical parenting and religious organizations who didn't even put to use any form of the scientific method to support their claims that video games make people mindless animals, I shall be using this study from the University of blah blah blah as my guide."

Maybe the problem isn't the threads but the fact that everytime we have a topic remotely related to religion we have 15 people on the first 3 pages go

Seriously, if you do this you need to loving stop. If people stopped making such a big deal over this stuff then nothing remotely bad would even happen. And most of the threads that pop up on religion just end up being a huge circlejerk for atheists and involve no actual philosophical discussion. When someone with a differing faith does come in, he's usually teamkilled or a loving idiot. Either way no one is hurt in the long run and when healthy debate does occur, everyone thinks people are violently arguing.

You are ignoring the fact that the drama is so trivial in the first place that it didn't even deserve a drama. I have literally had people loving with me like this since I joined but I was under the assumption that if I flipped out over something like that, the community would call me an idiot like I as and then told me to stop being a pusillanimous individual and take a joke.
