I requested this a while ago. Basically, it would be a vehicle with physics like the ball, and it could be rolled. It would make board game builds much more intuitive, and we'd probably find other uses for it as well.

Help / Mission editor boundaries

I've been using mission editor, and I was wondering what signifies the boundaries of where the map repeats. From my experience, anything built outside of the original map doesn't get saved, so I want to make sure I place the spawn point inside the boundaries.

Help / More than one variable needed to activate something?

Say I have three things (variable-wise) that I need to activate a button.

Receive a quest item: (Onactivate -> client -> modVariable -> [questitem1] [set] [1]

How do I event the button so it'll only activate when the player has collected all three, and denies anyone missing one or more of these artifacts?

For some time now, me and my brother have been working on a Custom Robo adaption for Blockland. If you don't know what Custom Robo is, you should look it up. It's a great game.

In Custom Robo, you have three types of weapons.

The gun: Self explanatory. Guns shoot in different patterns/styles.

The bomb: Fires a missile or bomb.

However, it's the third type of weapon that is unique. The pod. When the pod is fired, it deploys what can be called a "smart bomb". Pods will either travel around slowly or stay in place until an opponent is nearby, then seeks out and explodes near the enemy.

To balance the weapon, the max pods that can placed at once should be no more than 3. (Normally two if the bomb has strong homing)

So, for anyone looking to create an original weapon, I'm throwing this out there. Discuss usefulness/possibilities below.

There's been a lot of complaints about "unoriginal" and "boring" guns as of late, so I thought this would be worth bringing up.

For anyone who has played Custom Robo, they know the variety between different available guns. Certain guns shoot bullets that rise behind the player, lock on to the enemy, and heads straight for them. Others have bullets that go a certain distance from the player, then explode. There's even a "Dragon Gun" that shoots a sentient golden beam of death with limited homing abilities at your opponent.

If there are any addon developers that are looking for interesting new gun ideas, I suggest looking into Custom Robo.

Has anyone else played this game? If you have, do you like this idea?

Anyone who has played SA2B might know where I'm going with this. This would be a minigame mode where players could spawn an AI creature (maybe even actual chao) which could be kept in a garden area where players could interact with them.

This would also come with items that, when it comes into contact with the chao, could raise the chao's stats and possibly even change their appearance. Items could be obtained in another area, possibly a battleground, which would be separate from the garden where the AI reside.

Possible chao stats: Health, speed, swim, fly, strength

The AI appearance could change depending on its stats, such as fly could give it larger or better-looking wings, while more power could make spikes grow out of its fists.

Any thoughts/people interesting in doing this?

What is the best way to reduce lag?

I've tried disabling a lot of my addons, and I can put down around 8,000 bricks without any noticeable lag.

Is there any way to get that 8,000 higher?

Simply put, it's a Magician playertype without mana regeneration.

There could be items that recover mana points, as well as "addMana" and "setMana" events so players could have a Mana-regenerating station.

Discuss usefulness.

A horde of zombies that can be mowed down with an assault rifle, or a boss with a large health bar that starts a battle of attrition?

Personally, I like the long boss battles. After a while, you feel like you're really there. With the zombies, you get through it on a minor dose of adrenaline.

Which do you prefer, and why?
