Nope. Screen doesn't matter though because the same problem occurs if you run it without screen.

Are you using the script I posted?

Right, when there's a desktop environment it always works.

However, when it's headless it only works on certain users. We've compared the users' home directories and can't find anything different that would be significant.

Lugnut has it working on one user while the rest of his users do not work. Mine does not work. This led us to think that it has to do with some user-specific config.

So you're able to send a valid connection to the DNS server and receive a response, but your connection to Blockland's auth server fails? Have you tried packet sniffing to see if the outbound packet is even sent to auth.blockland.us?

The quoted chain of events was from my packet sniffing.

* Request for auth.blockland.us sent to DNS server.
* DNS server responds with proper IP addresses.
* Nothing happens.
  * Note: When the IP addresses are placed in hosts file, DNS is not queried, but again, nothing happens.

No packets are sent after the DNS response is received.

Well thats a pain, any idea whats causing it to be unable to auth when headless?

You can only have one object parented to the scroll box. Create a swatch control or something and parent it to the scroll box. Then parent the rest of your controls to the swatch control.

Just to clarify, the screenshot that appears is the one of your build?
