The limit is only in the system that reads music files and adds them to the music list. If you don't use that system, then you don't have any limitations.
Adding to this... It's an artificial limit that Badspot added to prevent people from sharing full songs.

they can call a function like onMathFunctionDone(%output, %phase); then just package that function to do stuff, where %phase is something like "keyGenPrimeCheck"

it's a completely different, almost totally roundabout way of thinking, but it can be done.

That seems unnecessarily complicated/convoluted. Those benchmarks seemed to show that the math functions are relatively fast. As long as you break the actual encryption algorithm into chunks so that you aren't performing too many math functions at once, you'll be fine.

The console log in the OP shows that it crashed during the runAmmoGuns function. I'm not sure what mod that's part of.

Something with Gamemode_Slayer. Disabled it and everything works fine.

That might be a coincidence. According to that console log, Slayer is not doing anything when the crash occurs.

greek, we need schedules because.. well, let's just look at RSA key generation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSA_(cryptosystem)#A_working_example

pick two prime numbers, this can be easily scheduled off
pick a number, run the primality check (which is pretty stuffty as it stands) by scheduling the modulo operations

Math functions need to return a number. They can't do that if they contain schedules.

No, the math functions should not work on schedule loops; they need to return something. The actual encryption function is what will use schedule loops.

Also, what needs doing? We need to post a to-do list somewhere, like on the Github issue tracker.

  • I've got the "transfer your current BLID to steam" feature almost working, but I've encountered what I'm almost sure is a bug in the steam web API.
So if we transfer our BLID to Steam, will we still be able to use it without Steam?
