Help / Re: Blockland and my C.P.U.

Try running without any add-ons installed (To do this, just rename your Add-Ons folder to something else) and then try again.

Fyi Tyler, Blockland's CPU usage can be affected by add-ons. You might have a mod that is very CPU intensive.

Also, stop saying that his hardware isn't good. It's an average computer (around where mine is) and should run Blockland perfectly.

No, I don't recommend putting your child research in Blockland.

How's the progress on map cycling going?

Progress is slow. I just got a new job and I'm trying to balance that with friends and stuff so I haven't done much scripting lately.

Any updates on the zombie mod?

I might change the Odometer. The rest seem to be pretty fitting.

Also, I need help here. How do you check to see if a pref exists or not? And if it doesn't, I want to set it to a default. I'm stumped here.
Sounds good.

And not sure what you mean by pref. Do you mean a variable like $Pref::Stuff?

To set a variable on an object, do this:

Code: [Select]
%obj=clientgroup.getobject(0);
%value = 17;
schedule(500,0,eval,%obj @ ".variable =" SPC %value @ ";");

It's pretty clear for me to see that the only people criticizing this are the people who didn't read the OP.
It's typical Port, being an starfish. Just ignore him.

Your icons and stuff look fine.

Edit: Although some of your icons like the odometer just don't make sense for what they do.

anyway, COMPLETELY off topic, who are you elm? You seem to be decent at coding but I just saw your name pop up not too long ago and I've never seen an "elm" in game.
Elm is an alt that randomly popped out of the ground and is much nicer and more helpful than certain other alts running around..
Edit: I don't mean you slick.

Help / Re: Colorset not showing up correctly
« on: June 28, 2012, 12:05:41 PM »
Use shift + P to take a picture of the HUD.

If you want the default builds to load properly (or at least better), this block should come first:
Code: [Select]
255 0 0 255
255 128 0 255
255 255 0 255
128 255  0 255
0 255 0 255
0 0 255 255
0 128 255 255
0 255 255 255
DIV: Standard Colors

Just figure out which of your brick packs have a 3x6x3 brick in them.

You need to change your fullscreen resolution to match the TV's res via the file.

You could do what I did with CTF flags and only create a certain number of color datablocks (10, for example) and then use the one that is the closest color.

Add-Ons / Re: BlockOS [On hold until further notice]
« on: June 27, 2012, 01:24:14 PM »
So, will you, like, recode BlockOS as a whole, or will you just kill it and leave it?
Or will you run major updates?
It's being merged with Blockland Glass. https://github.com/BlocklandGlass/Blockland-Glass/commits/blg2
