Or you can just do what I do. The server checks for add-ons in reverse alphabetical order. So Weapon_Zapper would mean that it just started downloading add-ons while Bricks_Angles means it's almost done.

I would maybe go if there was something to do there. Chicago is a 4 hour drive from my house, so a ride isn't an issue. But I doubt my parents would be thrilled if I said, "I'm going to go hang out with some people from the interwebs, brb."
