And thorax, why didnt it work?


The MC helmet would mount to the player when I tried using a command such as "/hat", but I couldn't get it to mount when you spawned as a "halo" playertype I made. I'm sure it's possible, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it.


I didn't attempt to make the elite work because I couldn't even get the MC helmet to work correctly. Also, the elite can be done 1 of 2 ways.
1. Someone could animate it so that it would be a playertype the client could use
or
2. I could divide the model into separate parts that would each mount on a part of the player (Head would mount to the player's head, body would mount to body, etc), but each mount would have offsets so everything would be positioned correctly.

How do you make hats for Blockland, other than using the hat mod?

You can't. Badspot has to add them directly to the default player animations.

I already really liked reach just for the beta, but this has really won me over. I'm buying the legendary edition thing, the one the comes with the statue. I almost literally threw up when I saw the video, I was so excited. Did you see those gravity effects (or at least optical illusions) they had on that one map? Frickin' amazing.

I host them quite a bit and people seem to think they are good. Although, this would be a pretty good idea.

I was on my way to the convenience store to get a bottle of mtn dew and it was like 100 degrees out. On my way back, 5 blocks from my house, it starts pouring rain out. I am now at home loving soaked. forget Michigan's weather.

Haha. Yesterday it was about 85, but it felt like it was about 70. Today it's 85, but it feels like it's 100.

I'm looking into getting into game design, and already have enough skill to create a prototype. My problem is lack of inspiration. I'd like to make something that's interesting, and never been done correctly before. So yeah, anyone have any sweet ideas for an online 2D game? Anything 2-dimensional, with any form of online gameplay is the only thing I request. (Coop, competitive, sandbox, etc)

GAH! I have sooooooooo many ideas for 2D online games (only one of which is actually an MMO, so that means they're pretty legit), but I don't have the skills to make them. But I'm learning.

What language are you using and what platforms do you plan for whatever to be on?

You could have it so that the screen had print bricks on it. Then you could make it so that when a player touched the brick, the screen would display "player". Same with vehicles and bots.
