I'm loving those props too. I was thinking about making my own suit at one point, but I ran out of time. I might have a go at it this summer.

Cool stuff. Sure.

I'll just take the time to point you Here-ward. Its another Halo fan project. Its a live-action Halo movie.

That's pretty awesome.

I think zombies would be like this:
-Recently infected zombies will be just as strong, if not stronger than normal humans. They would be strong because their muscles would not have deteriorated much and would not have sustained too big of injuries. I say stronger because they won't feel the pain that exerting your muscles give, therefore letting them run faster and be stronger.
-The longer the zombie has been infected, the more it would have deteriorated, thereby becoming weaker. Body parts will lose strength and fall off.
-Depending on how intelligent zombies actually are, they may or may not have the motor control to be able to do simple things like open doors, climb vertically, and walk up stairs. They would be able to smash in doors, possibly crawl up stairs and pull improvised "ramps" down to get up things.

If they are like this, than the best places to be would be high places you can only access by climbing vertically. If there are stairs, destroy them after making a rope or some other device to get back down. Shut all doors as they will alert you if zombies are trying to get in. Try not to camp in one place too long as you will just have to fight off more and more zombies when you want to leave.

General tips would include:
-Use bikes for transportation, they don't need gas and are virtually silent.
-Always carry a melee weapon, they never run out of ammo. Also, weapons that have other uses like crowbars, axes, hammers and machetes should be preferred over fancy swords. Chainsaws are generally not a good idea as they can run out of gas and are heavy and bulky.
-Use backpacks. These can help you carry items you may need later.
-Wear appropriate clothing. Long sleeves and pants are the best way to go because you can adjust them to meet just about any temperature range. Plus, you can use the material from them for bandages and still have suitable clothing. Pockets are a good thing. The more you have, the better off you'll be.
-Carry knives. They may not be great for fighting off a zombie, but they are VERY helpful in all other cases.
-Rope. Always have rope handy. Weather it is for moving a large object, used for scaling something, used as a trap, or used to make shelter, you can never have enough of it. Not too thick, not too thin. Chains will rattle and draw attention.
-Always have several extra meals on you. Don't eat them unless absolutely necessary. A couple of cans of soup or other good preserved meals will work well.
-Carry something to start a fire. Flint is preferred, but lighters and matches will work.
-If you are going to carry a gun, carry something that will have an abundance of ammo. Be sure not to shoot unless they are attacking you first, as they will draw attention to you.

Space and Shift would work just as nicely and they already make the player go up and down.

Its ok. Not a lot of detail, but that can be better in some ways.

I'm trying to keep it as blocko as possible, but I do agree, it probably needs more detail.

Would you guys support me if I made my own anime/cartoon on the subject? I might not be as pretty, but it would at least be made of good stuff and beef jerky. If I do do it, your inputs would be very welcome.

Well, they are.
But they shouldn't ninja jump, armor should be too heavy.
Unless they're naked. Which would be scary.

This is 500 years in the future. The armor could be more lightweight than it looks. Plus, I think one of the books said that the armor has built in motors, so that would help with reflexes and whatnot.

But they should have stuck to gunfights, not this hand-to-hand crap. Heck, even if the MC was shooting a pistol bullet to stop a sniper bullet, it would be far better than this. There hasn't been too many animes with gunfights and this could have been very promising. I might even make my own lame cartoon version and it will probably have better fight scenes than this. But I really like the characters of this anime.

EDIT:
The Elites in the books are goddamn monsters. Chief wrestles with one in hand to hand after the immediate plot of Halo and gets the stuff punched out of him, yet the game made them rather weak.

The books have to make everything 10x as hard because if they didn't, the plot would suck. Would it be really interseting to read, "Then the Master Chief took out 40 grunts and 2 elites. He ran to the next room and killed 5 elites, one of which was cloaked. He took the sword. A hunter ran into the room. He killed it with the sword. He tea-bagged the body."

They /are/ Spartans, hence the log and the superjumping.

Didn't know that.

Also, does anyone know what that monster was?

little boxy

I'm working on that at the moment. I was just giving you the basic shape.

The Orbital Strike Cannon (OSC) is a "sniper-like" weapon. But instead of firing a bullet, it targets an area for an orbital cannon to shoot.

Basically, the weapon will shoot a bullet (Raycast) that will send a small laser into space. This will show what will be blown up. A couple seconds later, a giant laser will come down from space and shoot the area that was targeted by the gun. The weapon will either have a super long reload time, or just disappear from the inventory because it's "battery ran out".

Alright Thorax, I've annexed you to the team. Are there any other skills aside from modelling that you have?

I can try my hand at scripting. And I'm going to try to make Mustafar, so that would be mapping.
