I have never cried at a movie. It's just not real enough for me to feel the emotions. Sometimes I feel like a robot...

I love this movie. I only have about 5 minutes left to finish the movie, but I think I know what happens.
Not Without My Daughter takes place in 1984. It's basically about an American woman who marries an Iranian in Michigan and they have a daughter. The Iranian wants the family to go on a "2 week vacation" in Iran, and the wife at first protests this. Eventually, the wife agrees to go to Iran. After 2 weeks in Iran in the Islamic environment, the wife was ready to leave. She talks to her husband and asks about the plane tickets to America. The husband claims he forgot- then later says that the family is staying in Iran. The middle part of the movie is mainly the husband beating the wife when she tries to escape with the daughter. At the end, the woman meets up with an Iranian who helps her escape.
I'd give this move a 4/5 star rating. Here is the trailer.
