Problem: You put the Xbox 360 in an area where it's not well ventilated. My Xbox 360 has been in a spacious area always where it gets nice airflow and has never gotten an RRoD.

If it's an older xbox, this might not be the case, but that is a good thing to do none the less.

That's bull stuff. I did it to mine and for around 6 months, it has NOT RROD'd

I'll be willing to bet 6 xbox's on it. Which is also the amount of xboxs I have fixed without the trick.

Also, what do you think overheating your xbox will do to it?

Yes do it, it works. I've done it.

As have I. Then it broke again 2 weeks later.

Basically, the towel trick overheats your xbox which is very dangerous if not done correctly (The towel trick is an incorrect method). In most cases, a RROD is fixable, it usually has something to do with the thermal paste. By overheating it, you risk damaging it beyond repair.

Religion was the wrong word, I meant churches.
The churches I've been to have always given me lectures about curse words sending us to hell for this or that reason.

Wrong again. Church talks about vulgar words being a sin. If you, along with the people around you, don't consider swearing to be vulgar then you aren't being vulgar and therefore, not sinning.

While I'd love to discuss this with you, it's bound to spark a religion war so I'm going to leave it alone.
