Personally, I rarely uses video game slang in real life unless it's part of a joke, I'm quoting someone, or if I'm talking about the game in which the slang is used. But I know so many people like this. This makes it all the more funny. :D

How do people break theirs? Mine never broke.

The old ones had crappy thermal paste so they would break. The new ones are fixed.

I have gotten the RROD and successfully fixed at least 6 xboxs with it. No lame tricks involved. (Note: Never EVER use those tricks, they end up breaking your xbox even more than it was). But it does involve voiding your warranty (If you still have one, send it into Microsoft).

So many people have this problem and don't bother to search for the answer... IT'S ALL OVER THE INTERWEBS PEOPLE!!!

You have 3 options:
1. If you have a warranty, send it in and get it repaired/replaced.
2. Buy a new Xbox 360
3. Fix it yourself.

If you pick the third option, then there are some steps you need to follow. But first, NEVER USE THE TOWEL/PENNY/ETC TRICK! EVER! That is the number 1 cause of irreparable Xboxs.

Ok then, now you need to check the error code of your Xbox. Because you have 3 rings, you have a general hardware error. To find out the specific problem, you have to find the code. To find the code, the ring should light up with 1-4 segments. If it's 4 lights, it's a 0. 1 means 1. 2=2. 3=3. Hold down the "Sync" button and press the eject button. Write down the first number. Still holding the sync button, press the eject button again. write down the second number. Find out the 3rd and 4th numbers the same way. After you have your 4 digit code, find it on this list and see what your problem is. Now google how to fix your problem and follow the instructions. Remember, get the right tools and be patient.

As an example, my Xbox got an error code 0102. To fix this, you have to do the x-clamp fix. I followed it carefully and to the letter, and now my xbox is up and running for just about $10.

1 segment (Bottom right) is repairable in most cases.
2 segments means that it overheated. Turn it off, wait an hour or so, it'll work like new.
3 segments, like I said, is a general hardware failure and can mean quite a few things
4 segments means that your AV cable is unplugged. Plug it in.

PM me for any extra help.

Solutions.
1.) Buy a smart or fast charger. You shouldn't need more than one batter btw.
2.) Don't buy clone AEGs then, get a KWA or G&G.
3.) Don't tell me that I don't know about alot about airsoft when you don't even know me. You're acting like you're some veteran airsofter because you know how to hook a Co2 tank up to a gun. yeah ur cool no. You're the one who doesn't know too much about airsoft if you don't even know how to use a smart charger or to buy higher quality guns.

If you've had bad problems with gearboxes and you did know alot about airsoft as you seem to be going on about, you'd know that, to preserve a gearbox you just need to change out parts to put less stress on it. Someone's obviously never heard of new shims or a  downgraded spring.

1. Like I said, they die at the worst of times. (You get the perfect time to make an ambush, you get ready to fire, pull the trigger and guess what? Nothing happens. You battery died taking pot shots at people way out of your range). Plus, you still have to charge them and they still take quite a bit of time to charge, even with the fast chargers.
2. I have, and frankly, they're pretty expensive. Not to mention that they can still break for the exact same reasons and when they do, you'll be out a lot more money.
3. Did I ever say I was a vet? No. But I've played long enough to know that gas guns don't use gearboxes, you CAN build a custom gun, and CO2 guns are just as easy to use as AEGs.

Plus, I don't really even like airsoft. It's boring after your first 20 games. If you play with lives, either people cheat or stray shots get you out. If you play pain, you end up bleeding everywhere. CTF and such take forever because noone will attack, only defend. The only reason for me to ever get back into airsoft would be if I built my own gun. Heck, even if the gun didn't work, it'd be a fun experience.

Also, if I did end up creating my own gun, I can guarantee you that 4/5 people would not laugh at it, but in turn, respect me for having the skills to be able to create my own instead of buying one like everyone else (Even if it does end up sucking).

Ordering new stuff today :D

This is another thing. People that play airsoft are constantly ordering new stuff. I have only bought 4 guns in the 6 years I played airsoft.
1. A $3 spring pistol at a flee market.
2. A $15 plastic AEG that lasted for about a year.
3. A $75 (Normally $150) full metal AK-47 from a friend that lasted about a year and a half (The fuse blew, easy fix but I never bothered to find one).
4. A CO2 pistol (Crosman C11). Still fully operational.

Now, don't get me wrong, I wasn't a sissy player (I went up against full metal AEGs quite a lot), I had to be a ninja and sneak behind them. And I was perfectly fine with it. The people with the AEGs were constantly buying new guns to get "better accuracy, more fps, faster rate of fire". They ended up having too many guns and when we quit playing airsoft, they couldn't find enough people to sell them to. They're just a waste of money.

Wow, that's going to be one fugly gun. Nice image macro btw. If you do actually finish that project, I will eat a hat.
btw. There's no point in having a gas gun if it's not blowback, your project is a waste of time. Just buy a gun instead of working on some fugly co2 shotgun.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. With that said, I really don't care what the gun looks like as long as it does what I want and I made it. Also, isn't blowback just a waste of gas?

@Thorax This isn't paintball or the 90's when you HAD to do that. Just buy an AEG and save yourself the laughs you'll get carrying around that thing.

I've had AEG's and they are ok. The reason I don't want one is because of batteries. They take forever to charge and they always die out at the worst times. Plus, the batteries are pretty expensive to buy. Also, the gear boxes don't last very long in my experiance, even if they are full metal.

Now, the gun itself won't be very ugly. It will look like a regular pump shotgun, just with a longer barrel and thicker stock. It will most likely be all one color, not a rainbow like the diagram.

From what I can tell, you don't know too much about airsoft to realize that it's more about function over looks.

The Wii sucks. I regret ever buying one. I have yet to find a game that can keep me interested in it for more than a few hours. The new LoZ games are starting to suck  (Coming from a major LoZ fan). The only reason I kept mine is for the Homebrew, Virtual Channel, and Monster Hunter when it comes out. But then again, Monster Hunter is also coming to the 360 which will surely be better, so I might as well get rid of my Wii as I still have my GC, N64 and NES.
