Guy Fawkes mask.

Saw them at a costume store near me. I was going to buy one, but realised that it was going to cost me $40 dollars for everything (that's $40 bucks I want to spend at 2 concerts) so I decided not to get it. I'll just save my money for next year to get a full-blown Stormtrooper costume.

Oh, I thought it was just a meme.

Oh well, is there anything real bad about it?

Not really. V uses the mask in the movie as a symbol for the revolution he starts/carries out.

If ISP decide to block certain sites and such, they might lose business if another ISP decides not to block anything. Also, if ISPs block a ton of stuff, a group of people might create a "pirate" ISP... :D

I played some left4dead on my friends computer, and it didn't really appeal to me. My Xbox magazine keeps climaxing about it, but I truthfully cannot find something appealing in it. I can tell its a fantastic game, but I don't see anything fun. Can somebody like explain to me what makes this game so great? I have to money for it, but I'm not sure I should get it...

You need people to play with or it's boring. It's all about teamwork. You're friends reactions and the plans you come up with are half the fun.

Or we could implement systems and checks and balances that would prevent people from becoming homeless in the first place. If we did that, then the homeless population would slowly ebb off to nothing in a matter of time. The problem with this is, is that people are too stuck on greed and the need for material wealth to do anything about it.

I still like my idea better.

At any rate, you people are making the assertion that homeless people all don't have jobs. Much of the time they run out of money and are forced out of their house but still work to make at least a bit of an income. Much of their expenses come from abusive banks and a broken health care system, both of which could easily be changed with some socialization and regulation.

People are forgetting the "American Dream"...

Hard to find a job without access to showers and clean clothes. Would you hire a guy who looks and smells like stuff? They're walking health hazards.

True, but... Wait. My point would have been stupid... Maybe we should just shoot them all? Or we could create "Homeless Island". It'd be an island somewhere in the pacific that we'd ship all the homeless people to. If they've been homeless for over 6 months, they get shipped off.

I honestly don't think there should be a penalty for being homeless. If you truly can't support yourself due to injury and such, I believe you should be taken in and cared for, but people have gotten so lazy that they won't work. I think that we should stop supporting the homeless that are just too lazy. Have something like this:

Homeless person: "I'm homeless, can I get some soup?"
Soup person: "Do you have any injuries preventing you from working that you can prove?"
Homeless person: "Um... Well.... No."
Soup person: "No soup for you!"

If they're hungry, they'll work.
