Bots should just be automated, maybe with some small control. These wouldn't be very useful in open battlefields if you have to control their every move, you would get shot before you could get it to help you.

Did you read the OP. It'd be like a RTS. The bots would attack and assist on their own, players would just direct them for more specific commands.

I lol'd at the thought of that. People in Marvel costumes breaking windows, burning kiosks, and pushing down little kids. I'd join.
