The login thing, from what I can tell, is a recurring problem where somehow the /user directory has a second Session Id. I'll have to look in to it more, I thought I fixed it yesterday.

The publish button should become active when you've entered a valid filename. What browser are you on? What's the file name you're trying to input?

I agree with that, but if you have somebody dedicated to doing high-level stuff, they're probably going to spend a lot of time waiting around. Even low-end stuff could be waiting for other low-end stuff.

I've made blockland chat systems before, way back years ago. It's not all that complicated. DC4F/Nullable and I used a Java server I believe, though something more lightweight would probably be ideal. Node.js or Python probably.

Basically, my thinking with BLG is that when I finish the features I'm working on, I'll move on to another one that I feel the community needs, assuming nobody else is working on it. I'm not here for competition, but I'm not afraid to move forward. Add-on hosting is only the beginning. In the past, I've announced too many features at once, and that's led to the project failing, which is why I haven't made any large commitments outside of add-on hosting yet. If someone else comes along and starts to develop, that's fantastic, I'll work with them and try to integrate things where they make sense.

I think a problem with splitting up so much functionality is that development is greatly slowed. If you're making the chat client, you gotta wait for the chat server to develop, or visa versa. I think one of my biggest advantages with Glass is that I have the API code open on half my screen and the client script open on the other half.

Long-term for glass, I'm pretty sure that the next feature I'm going to tackle is a save gallery/cloud saving system. It's the next logical step from add-ons. I'm also planning on bringing back in my features from the BLG I developed around 3 years ago. I'd love to collaborate and bring other developers on-board for Glass, but splitting up functionality so far that we each have a dedicated "system" seems like it would slow production.

The problem is that your old version is 2.0.0.1, which isn't SemVer. There must be some sort of discontinuity somewhere. I've manually switch the 2.0.0.1 to 2.0.1, which should allow you to update. Thanks for pointing out the problem.

Make sure you're using SemVer version formatting. For example:

1.0.0
1.0.1-alpha.1
1.0.1

Should be fixed, turns out that some users had two concurrent sessions? And neither of them were set to expire for two weeks? I'm not sure how exactly that happened.

I'm not sure, since it's worked fine for other users. Could you post a console.log?

Okay, that's actually turning out be an extremely serious problem.. I'm getting it locally. Essentially, it looks like session data isn't being loaded in /user/ directory. Everything else seems fine and no other part of the site is having this problem.

The only problem with that would be having two accounts on the same IP. Say you have a little brother, and you're both playing Blockland. When you open the browser, there's no way to tell which one of you it is.

I'm still working on cookies, so that should keep you signed in pretty much indefinitely. I'll probably do majority site work today.

For anyone who's been following the development thread about the add-on, I'm about ready to release Alpha 1 of it. I have a few more changes and tweaks to make, but it's looking pretty great.

When I was messing around with it, the problem wasn't printing it I believe, it only crashed at Jettison's parse command. Actually, most of the time it just quit without a message at all. At first I was pretty confused honestly.

Edit: I'm probably going to push last night's version as Alpha 1 unless I find any game breaking bugs.

Greek, is there any specific function I can use from Support_Updater to find out what channel and add-on is on? For statistics, I want to start sending back usage information, and I'd like to have that as one of the metrics.

For the descriptions, its a problem with the currently broken BBcode. For the source, they must be escaped one time too many. I'll take a look.

When files are updated, their verification status is reset.

One of us must have approved the add-on by accident. Thanks for point out the bug, I'm investigating it now.
