I feel like I wasn't as affected by this place as most have been, I kept a healthy distance by mostly lurking, and only chiming in when I was extremely bored, or when I thought I had something worthwhile to say. At least that's what I've mostly done, I can't speak for younger me, he had a mind of his own. Learned a lot of lessons about not engaging with hostility here though, so I have y'all to thank for that.

Opted into the Beta to try the new UI before it was released. It's good. I kinda wished they kept the original aesthetic and didn't follow in the footsteps of other UI's by making things flat and 'modern', but otherwise it's much more functional, and gels with the rest of their platform a lot better. Especially the game overlay, what they did with that was a fantastic upgrade to the old one. There is something to be said for the charm of the stuff we're used to, but I think this is on the whole, a step in the right direction.

How much cash infront of Eric do you think it would take for him to just give creative license to Conan or whomever?

Since the game is source of passive income for him, (at least marginally) I'd assume a lump-sum that would be relatively worth how much the game would make until it completely dies out (as in, no purchases, 0 players/servers online).

I mean, I'd rather them release private servers than just... End the game for everyone. Those guys who actually release private servers are the GOAT because they absolutely did not have to do that, and those who are still passionate about the game can still play it as long as they want.
