Reinstall Blockland to a folder and grab the add-ons from there, probably. That'd be the easiest thing to do.

'except the phail'? Ok, whatever that means. I've just installed on a vanilla install of Blockland. It works perfectly. No changes, no modifications. The only thing I've done is grabbed the .zip from dilt.us, installed it, it works PERFECTLY. I have no idea why it isn't working with you. It works with everyone else just fine, apparently. Your console.log says that it isn't being loaded. That's all I can say. Why it isn't being loaded for you, I don't know, but it's loading perfectly, no matter what computer I put it on. No problems, green gun in hand, everything -works-. I have no idea why you are having your problem. Anyone else know?

Help / Re: Speed Up Blockland, Other Games, and PC. Windows XP Version
« on: December 17, 2007, 10:35:28 AM »
Seriously. A lot of those services should be kept on. Themes, automatic updates, windows time, print spooler, etc. While I do agree that some of the more worthless services (such as messenger) should be removed, there are rather important services that should be kept running. I know this firsthand from tweaking my own XP.

Also, note this: System -> Advanced -> Performance

Uncheck everything but the following:
Code: [Select]
Show shadows under menus
Show shadows under mouse pointer
Show translucent selection rectangle
Use common tasks in folders
Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop
Use visual styles on windows and buttons
That should be mentioned.

Also, this may not increase Blockland's speed. It will improve Windows speed, overall. Also, mention disabling the Indexing service. Good job on noting the tweaks in Blockland, itself, though.

Dilt, instead of looping through all the clients do: %cl = findClientByName("part of name");
findClientByName loops through them all anyway. The only difference is really preference/code length/readability, and I prefer to do the loop myself, in case I need to throw an exception or such.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: A Small Box
« on: December 17, 2007, 08:42:27 AM »
If you can't model a box you aren't trying.
I can model a cube, I think anyone can. And I said I wasn't trying :( I was more along the lines of trying to see if anyone skilled in modeling could put it together for me, that's it.

Odds are that if nobody makes it for me in a few days, I'll probably have enough time to learn modeling. Just need to get through these exams at school and all the coding for Area Zones.

General Discussion / Re: just a question

Not everyone runs Windows. If you use Mac OS X or GNU/Linux to run Blockland, you will not get viruses through port forwarding because both were designed with network and multi-user security as the highest priority.
Doesn't matter. What I said applies to all OSes, regardless of ability of security. It is possible to be remotely exploited with a port forwarded. The odds of it happening may be smaller on Mac OS X or any of the various Linux flavors, but it may still be possible for it to happen.

Does WINE or equivilant even run Blockland, by the way?

The fact people think their safe because their a Maccigarette makes them even more likely a target. There aren't as many Macs as there are Window PC's, so theres a smaller hacker userbase.
What's relevant is the amount of viruses/exploits written. Most of the virus writers go for the most commonly-used software in order to infect/exploit the most people.

so wtf am I supposed to do?
Confirm that it's actually checked off in the add-ons list. Because, since it's not loading, it's either not checked off on the list, or not on the list at all.
