Except the kickstarter campaign is closed, they got more money than the ultimate stretch goal, THE FUNDING IS COMPLETE!
Any purchases after that are not FUNDING THE GAME, they are PURCHASING THE GAME!
It's not just about getting more money. Honestly! Did you even read the last few posts!?
They already made 2.2 million dollars on kickstarter, more than their ultimate stretch goal, THEY HAVE ENOUGH loving MONEY!It's not just about getting more money. Honestly! Did you even read the last few posts!?
There's also the risk that the people buying it aren't going to actually help the development and contribute, which is the entire reason there even IS early access.
They want feedback and developmental support for committed gamers. (Make the game less available by having a closed alpha/beta or by charging more)
There is absolutely no possible way to excuse how the steam players have to pay the same overpriced $90They don't you moron! The game isn't properly out yet! Take it like this: imagine if they didn't do Steam Early Access but otherwise it was the same situation. It wouldn't be out at all with no price, and it would be unfinished. You'd only get it when it was finished at a lower price, which is what you personally want. This is basically what is happening, it's just if you really want to test the game out and help the development then you can pay extra and help out, otherwise you wait till the game is actually released for a lower price.
I want the game NOW and not in december!Tough stuff, good games take time to make. Grow up.
I don't give a stuff if some rich kickstarter friends paid $100You're extremely stupid, they didn't pay $100 just for the game - they paid $100 to support the devs and then get the game as a bonus. You know the people that make these things are human.
you don't have any idea whether the game does actually get finished or whether the devs take the moneyThey don't loving buy it till it's finished you handicap.
Alpha/Beta versions are always cheaper than the finished game because there is always a risk of it not getting done! There's also the risk that the people buying it aren't going to actually help the development and contribute, which is the entire reason there even IS early access.
2. I refuse to spend $90 on a single game, like what the forget reallyThe price is lowering as it gets further into development, ugh. They've said they want to have only the most devoted people in this VERY early build so the people playing actually help and are devoted.
relieve yourself of that overflow of cash riiiighhtt?I wish.
Another reason I left public school. Too many people had stuff interests in gaming. Too much hype about Minecraft, LoL, and COD. Disgusting. This is exactly why home school is (sometimes) bad.
chord is a musical termoops
cord is technological/mechanical
Found another person who robbed me of my name. This time, it was some prick 14 year-old with extreme unoriginality issues. He was convinced he was the real "Khorde"why is it so crazy to think that he came up with the name to? your name is literally the word 'cord' (which is a musical term) spelt differently
this stuff sticks in my craw deep.
Translator on facepunch said they were told the date and said they could freely talk about it because someone would end up leaking it anyway. To clarify, a translator for steam - thus they have to translate all the steam banners for it and such.
You started the topic way to early.
