I'd like a parental controls program that grouped applications and could have a master time limit for those, instead of one big time limit for computer.
for instance, instead of doing 3 hours of computer total time, parents would be able to have 1 hour under a game group, and they would put all your games in that group, and have a 4 hours limit for using productive applications.

the problem with people limiting computer time is that they have no actual reason to do so.
what's wrong with being on the computer? if they can even think of a reason that isn't "you shouldn't be on the computer because it's the computer!", that reason is probably unproven.
there's no reason to punish yourself or change your life style for things that MIGHT happen. if it DOES happen, you can still address the problem from there.
