I sneak up on them and kill them. I move around them in a circle if they see me and try to attack. I don't run up to people if they see me, I usually use my shotgun and then if I'm lucky they'll actually try to melee me.

I use Backburner, and I've taken down several heavies because I get behind them. Heavies are one of the easiest classes for me to take down, really. I tend to have the most problems against scouts smart enough to back away from me. I can kill most other pyros.

Cheater's lament isn't the same thing. Cheater's lament is reward, no money required.
I've never heard anyone complain about the things I mentioned. Nor have I ever seen anyone complain about the cheater's lament, though I was inactive when it came to be.

Nobody ever complained about the sam and max stuff only being for people who bought sam and max, or the bill hat only being for people who preordered l4d2. And nobody complains about the fact you couldn't have gotten the silver or gold medals on a mac without a 3rd party program.

the 15% damage buff was a recent addition due to complaints of it sucking, which it did. It encourages ambushing.

the compression blast can reflect rockets and extinguish teammates, why give that up so you can rarely get crits for coming up behind an enemy?
it does 15% more damage as well

I haven't gotten any stuff at all from mac haters for wearing my buds. As a matter of fact, everybody has talked about how they wanted them, or how they plan to log in on a friend's mac, or start talking about how cool it is (like how it shoots out musical notes)

it runs really really well on my mac, better than my newer pc with almost identical specs.
and I run the same MacOS version as Sammich, my only problem is that my mic won't work.
and I miss the old menu. I wish they didn't have that giant bar at the top that is pretty useless.
