To Demo_Man:
This is Demo_Man's idea, I take no recognition for the idea.
Description:
After seeing Demo_Man's "Demo Build: Beach House" I decide to remake it in the full version of Blockland. It seemed easy at first, but the set booklet got into the arduous parts or going back and forth with the little bricks for each step, and I then changed my mind. This wasn't going to be an easy task.

I'm locking this because of all the controversy. He wasn't banned in the end because he left. I also closed the poll, and will be changing it now, due to the amount of people who think I am an starfish. All I did was ask whether I should ban, kick or neither and everyone thought I wanted to ban him because of spam. I was leaning towards not banning up until I said it was a little bit spammy, and he shrugged me off and continued doing what he was doing. I was then going to kick him once I got back from net-browsing. I got back and he had spammed up heaps more.
The rules stated that you were not allowed to spam, annoy other builders, annoy/abuse admin and you had to build on a 32x32 baseplate. He decided to disregard two of those rules and spam on a 64x64 grid of 4x4 plates. Do any of you see that as a blatant disregard of rules? Then going ahead and abusing an admin, I think that is a clear reason to ban.
Note: I left out the part where he swore at me because I didn't want to make you think that was the reason I was wondering whether to ban him. If that had happened on it's own I would have warned them that I may kick them if they don't stop.
I will leave this open for 10 more minutes and then I will lock, to see if this has triggered a change of heart.

« on: March 20, 2010, 04:56:46 AM »I meant as long as the entire building wasn't 1x1 flats. For doors, making the handle be one plate high can be hard to keep consistent, so if he's new, it's a perfectly good reason.
