Help / How do I use bots?

I cannot figure out how to use bots.  I have heard that you need a mod to use them, but i cannot find one.
I have downloaded an AI swordsman, but no other bot mods.

I cannot figute out how to get maps for my Macbook!  It gets downloaded, but i cannot figure out how to open it.
One problem may be that I currently have a demo version.  If this is the case, please tell me.
