back in my day as soon as anyone found out someone was a minor they would get permanently banned from anything. sure, some just never told anyone, but it was better than nothing
Except that during the old internet some sight just required you to but at least 13 or up to join a forum or so. If anything I think some site (especially discord and such) have not enforced the "you must be 13+ to use this website/service" thing for a long time now at least in my opinion.

« on: December 09, 2020, 10:15:50 AM »anyone who uses discord still is either: a creep, furry, mentally unstable in some capacity, or underaged. seriously kids should not be using it and if mods don't ban them on sight, that alone is a massive red flag to me. normally i'm all for learning the hard way how to act on the internet, but in private chatrooms they can easily be groomed instead which is way worse than being called a slur.
skype sucks, teamspeak is old and crusty, and steam makes you pay for emotes. wtf else are you supposed to use??
Use IRC (Internet Relay Chat) though it's a bitch to set up from what I heard.
