My friend can no longer even play. He keeps getting this pop up message when he runs it (He has a mac)

"Blockland could not write to cache database.

Do not run the game directly from the mounted image"

What does this mean and how can it be fixed? Note that he is NOT running from the DMG. Also, is this something to do with cache.db being locked/read-only?

Nope. Meaning beta testing servers are a no-no. Because people will just crash when a file isnt on the cdn, whatever that is xP

So we no longer download .dts files that are stored in our add-ons folder, no matter what the case?

We dont download ANY files to the add-ons folder. THATS what I hate.

Same!  Is everyone having the same problem?  Also RTB won't let me log in, says it can't find my Username and when I get the Building Cache Database, it says im in Demo Mode, were my name should be at the bottom of the screen.

WAT DA FACK?!?!?

RTB has nothing to do with the blockland update. But Ephi is migrating the RTB website to a different server because its about to take a stuff.

The cache DID rebuild itself more than once.

I dont put my music collection in my addons, I just downloaded a lot of files from other servers back when I first got the game.

The console was putting out things like: [ could not open "(filepath")--skipping.  ]

The "regenerating file manifest" happened every time someone joined.

And the only reason I like having access to my files is because I use the sound effects which I download from other servers by re-packaging them myself at my server. I was able to use a large portion of the addons that I downloaded from other servers by repackaging them myself. Now I cannot do that.

I keep getting random freezes during game WTF.

"Regenerating File manifest"

Then a bunch of bullstuff spam in the console.\

V18 Blows starfish, and for five reasons:

Escape menu opens outside of a server
Music loops larger than 1mb are not added to the music list (D:<)
The "faster" cache system makes blockland take about 8 times as long to start up
I can no longer run two different blockland windows at once
I cannot access the files I have downloaded from connecting to other servers for my own uses

I hope for some MAJOR reconsiderations as of v19. :P
