also, saw that ninja, but that shadow on the curtain is wrong :P

it's not angled properly, the candles are almost directly in front of the butler, which would cast a shadow on the wall behind him, not on the curtain

either the candles need to be farther to the right or he needs to be farther to the left for it to make sense

is that picture a reference to something though, it seems familiar for some reason

The character is meant to be cartoony like that :s

you can do cartoony without making it look like stuff lol

and even if the artist did keep all of the stylistic choices he still shouldn't mirror the animation and he needs to follow the action/reaction rules

noodle arms, not following the rules of action/reaction, lazily mirrored body, weird torso deformation, poor foreshortening/perspective, tail motion makes no sense, blinking looks unnatural

it looks reminiscent of really early cartoons, which is not a good thing by any means; we've learned a lot about animation since the 1920s

I like how there are a lot more people posting art
